Personnel
The following people were involved in the making of !:
Albums of recorded music were developed in the early 20th century, first as books of individual 78rpm records, then from 1948 as vinyl LP records played at 331⁄3rpm. Vinyl LPs are still issued, though in the 21st century albums sales have mostly focused on compact disc (CD) and MP3 formats. The audio cassette was a format used in the late 1970s through to the 1990s alongside vinyl.
An album may be recorded in a recording studio (fixed or mobile), in a concert venue, at home, in the field, or a mix of places. Recording may take a few hours to several years to complete, usually in several takes with different parts recorded separately, and then brought or "mixed" together. Recordings that are done in one take without overdubbing are termed "live", even when done in a studio. Studios are built to absorb sound, eliminating reverberation, so as to assist in mixing different takes; other locations, such as concert venues and some "live rooms", allow for reverberation, which creates a "live" sound. The majority of studio recordings contain an abundance of editing, sound effects, voice adjustments, etc. With modern recording technology, musicians can be recorded in separate rooms or at separate times while listening to the other parts using headphones; with each part recorded as a separate track.
Gumbys are recurring characters in Monty Python's Flying Circus, characterized by a very distinctive appearance. Gumbys are portrayed with toothbrush moustaches, wear handkerchiefs on their heads which are knotted at the corners, wire-rimmed spectacles, braces, Fair Isle knitted tank tops, a 1950s shirt rolled up to the elbows (without the detachable collar), trousers rolled up above their knees, and gumboots. The characters usually hold their arms in an ape-like position, speak loudly and slowly, and pronounce words syllable by syllable. Though created by John Cleese, the Gumbys were most often played by Michael Palin, although Graham Chapman, Terry Jones and Cleese also had noticeable solo turns as Gumbys. Palin's Gumby voice was used to announce the show title in Series 3.
Many times, a Gumby or group of Gumbys would appear in the series as a means of linking sketches, or would briefly give their views in one of the Vox pop segments. Their most notable appearance was in "The Buzz Aldrin Show" episode where they introduced sketches about architects, insurance, chemists, and the end of the show. A classic line from one of these is during a segment on taxation, where a Gumby (played by Cleese), standing knee-deep in a river, says "I would put a tax... on all people... who stand... in water." (He then shouts in alarm as he looks down at his feet, which are submerged.) They also appeared in their own sketches, such as "Flower Arranging" and "Gumby Brain Surgery".

Gumby The Green Album CD Longbox Unboxing.
Now we heard of Gumby for many years during their time and before our time. There is CD album called Gumby The Green Album but the songs on there are not on the show but from singers that people heard years ago. My parents gave me this as a birthday gift and they got it from EBay and it was a good price. Now I did tell you about the CD longboxes from years ago before I was around but they don't do them anymore because they are the waste of cardboard. Now I know there might be other CD longboxes that should get in the future. Let me know what other CD longboxes I should get off of EBay I should get. Enjoy the video.

“Mystery Girl (The)”
Plastic Rock For A Plastic World (1982)
Rubr Rock Records
This is one of the few records I’ve found at San Diego Comic Con (which I proudly attended from 1998-2018). I thought it was a Gumby record until I looked on the back and saw these glammy power pop dudes on the back. I listened to the first 30 seconds of this song, “Mystery Girl (The)”, on my phone (it was a $20 record I’d never heard before, c’mon) and was like “Yep, that’s a keeper!” So I bought it right there (the rare green vinyl, natch) and carried it with me all day in my backpack. Surprised this hasn’t been on any power pop compilations as it’s a hit and a half! No idea if it was officially licensed by Gumby, guessing not since this is the only thing they ever did save for the produc...
