Signed by famous maker, "Howard Miller of Zeeland, MI," for their "Presidential Collection" about 25 years ago, a luxury model long case or grandfather clock is all original and in beautiful condition.
About 25 years old, the solid cherry case is accented with panels of elm burl. The original finish is in extremely fine condition. Beveled glass panes and polished and lacquered brass mounts are authentic. The filigree dial is exquisite on this American made vintage furniture.
The brass movement runs a week on a winding, and plays the familiar Westminster melody on sonorous chimes each quarter hour, and counts the hour as well. A lever chooses three other tunes or silent. The original winding clock and owner's manual are included.
