July 21, 1964 Original script: A shaggy-haired British folk singer, who tells Harold Keen why he differs from the Beatles, left San Diego today after a more than warm reception from a host of teenagers at Westgate Park last night. Police arrested 15 youths between 18 and 21 who became a bit over enthusiastic in a demonstration of their admiration or dislike for Gordon Waller and his partner, Peter Asher. At their arraignment today, nine of the youths pleaded not not guilty; will have jury trials August 18. Twenty-two others picked up by police were taken to Juvenile Hall. Gordon Waller "A World Without Love" (2002 Palo Alto)

An extremely rare performance of the late Gordon Waller (1945-2009) performing with Cyril Jordan (formerly of Flamin' Groovies) and the New Moondogs, at CD Land (Palo Alto, CA) on February 15, 2002. This particular song is "A World Without Love," a track he recorded in 1964 with Peter Asher as the duo known as Peter & Gordon. This particular composition was written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney, but never recorded by the Beatles. This footage is copyright Eric Predoehl, and all rights are reserved. I do have MORE footage from this concert......
