Golden Book Video was a line of children’s animated videos marketed by Western Publishing, beginning in 1985. They featured characters and stories from Western's print publications, such as Little Golden Books, and were originally released on VHS video cassette for under $10.
The videos made use of limited animation techniques to add motion to original illustrations from Western's print books; Western called this approach "bringing storybooks to life". As production was carried-out by multiple companies (usually Studio Consultants Inc., Universal Recording Corp. and Animagination Inc., among others), contents of the videos varies. Typically, they featured a full voice cast, with background music sourced from production music libraries (the KPM/Associated Production Music library, in most cases), although original songs were recorded for some videos, occasionally with sing-along lyrics appearing on-screen. The video adaptions often carried original material that was not present in the original books. Some of their video releases were mastered with Dolby Stereo.
A trailer (also known as a preview or coming attraction) is an advertisement or a commercial for a feature film that will be exhibited in the future at a cinema. The term "trailer" comes from their having originally been shown at the end of a feature film screening. That practice did not last long, because patrons tended to leave the theater after the films ended, but the name has stuck. Trailers are now shown before the film (or the A-movie in a double feature) begins.
Movie trailers have now become popular on DVDs and Blu-rays, as well as on the Internet and mobile devices. Of some 10 billion videos watched online annually, film trailers rank third, after news and user-created video. The trailer format has also been adopted as a promotional tool for television shows, video games, books, and theatrical events/concerts.
History
The first trailer shown in a U.S. film theater was in November 1913, when Nils Granlund, the advertising manager for the Marcus Loew theater chain, produced a short promotional film for the musical The Pleasure Seekers, opening at the Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway. Loew adopted the practice, which was reported in a wire service story carried by the Lincoln, NebraskaDaily Star, describing it as "an entirely new and unique stunt", and that "moving pictures of the rehearsals and other incidents connected with the production will be sent out in advance of the show, to be presented to the Loew’s picture houses and will take the place of much of the bill board advertising". Granlund was also first to introduce trailer material for an upcoming motion picture, using a slide technique to promote an upcoming film featuring Charlie Chaplin at Loew's Seventh Avenue Theatre in Harlem in 1914.

Imagine That (A Golden Book Video)
Jesse's imagination takes him anywhere he wants to go - from an exciting car race to the landing strip of a space vehicle. But sometimes a great imagination can be a problem, like when Jesse doesn't hear what his teacher is saying, or when he misses out on a game with his friends. Jesse's art teacher asks the class to make an animal - their favorite animal in the whole world. Jeremy busily paints a crocodile, Heather fashions a long-legged spider out of straws and glue, and Phoebe colors a brillant orange penguin. Jesse is stumped. He can't seem to draw anything that looks "right". As he looks at his friends' creations, Jesse remembers some of his favorite animal songs. With each animal, his imagination soars, until, at last - Jesse has an idea! Join in the fun with live action, colorful a...

Golden Book Video Aesop's Fables - The Wolf and the Lamb
Here's something REALLY obscure I found. It's a Golden Book Video from 1986: "Aesop's Fables of Patience & Honesty." It's actually a Japanese anime that is hosted by three monkeys. It was simply titled "Aesop's Fables" and produced by Nippon Animation (the same Japanese studio that also did "Around the World with Willy Fog" and the "My Favorite Fairy Tales" anime.) I also have reason to believe that Golden Book Video actually dubbed this anime themselves, since I saw some of their usual crew members listed in the end credits.
Anyways, this story is of "The Wolf and the Lamb." A not-so-wiley wolf discovers a flute, and learns its music mesmerizes his prey. However, his vanity is his downfall when a captured lamb compliments him on his musical talents. He becomes absorbed with his flute pla...
