Fullscreen, Inc. is a global network of content creators and brands on YouTube owned by a joint venture of AT&T and The Chernin Group. It is one of the largest independent YouTube network based on unique viewers according to comScore Video Metrix. Fullscreen offers tools, services, and consultation to its members. Yeousch was the largest sub network within the Fullscreen network, but eventually got shut down. As of September 22, 2014, Fullscreen, Inc. operates as a subsidiary of Otter Media.
The Fullscreen network generates more than 7 billion monthly video views and has a subscriber number of about 100 million. Fullscreen employs more than 150 employees and is based in Culver City, California with offices in New York City and Atlanta.
In addition to the network, Fullscreen also provides an end-to-end channel management and optimization service for brands and media companies to grow their presence on YouTube. The premium service, which includes a full suite of software tools and consultation on programming strategy, is designed to build audience and engagement around clients’ video content. Fullscreen’s current clients include NBCUniversal, FOX, FremantleMedia, JASH,Fine Brothers,Rooster Teeth, Funhaus, ScrewAttack, WIGS and more.
Pan and scan is a method of adjusting widescreen film images so that they can be shown within the proportions of a standard definition 4:3 aspect ratiotelevision screen, often cropping off the sides of the original widescreen image to focus on the composition's most important aspects. Some film directors and film enthusiasts disapprove of pan and scan cropping, because it can remove up to 45% of the original image on 2.35:1 films or up to 53% on earlier 2.55:1 presentations, changing the director or cinematographer's original vision and intentions. The worst examples remove up to 75% of the original picture on such aspect ratios as 2.75:1 or even 3:1 in epics such as Ben-Hur, King of Kings or Lawrence of Arabia.
The vertical equivalent is known as "tilt and scan" or "reverse pan and scan". The method was most common in the days of VHS, before widescreen home media such as DVD and Blu-ray.
Center cut is similar with the difference as the name suggests that it is simply a direct cut of the material from the center of the image with no horizontal panning or vertical tilting involved. This method doesn't require the permission or availability of the film maker or director to identify the most important part of each frame. Most video displays have three options for 16:9 widescreen frame formatting, which are either center cut, letterbox or full frame. The first two options are reliant on the video stream's aspect ratio flag being set correctly.

In season two, Kaito Nakamura revealed that there were twelve founders of the Company, and a photo of the twelve is later seen (listed below under "Group photo"); it did not include Adam Monroe, an immortal human with the ability of rapid cellular regeneration, who is described as the one who "brought them all together." The Company began sometime between January 1977 and February 14, 1977. Monroe was locked away for thirty years on November 2, 1977, concluding that he only spent about 10 to 11 months with the Company. In the first season of the show, Daniel Linderman heads the Company until his demise. He is substituted in the second season by Bob Bishop, who is implied to be the Company's financial source. However, when Sylar kills him in the beginning of Season 3, Angela Petrelli takes over. Several of the founders have children who are posthumans and who are main characters within the series.
