Real assets vs financial assets | FIN-Ed
In this video, I will talk about different types of assets that an investor can buy. I assume you already have a clear understanding of investment and savings. If not, you may want to check my previous video, where I discussed the difference between investment and savings. The link to that video is given right here and, in the description, below.
The productive capacity of an economy determines how wealthy a society is. This capacity is linked to the goods and services its members can create. Assets that you need to produce goods and services are real assets. These assets are land, building, factory, equipment, human capital, etc.
In contrast, financial assets are the claims on real assets.

Types of Assets: Financial, Tangible, and Intangible
How do people get rich? Rather than having very high-paying jobs, wealth is more easily accumulated through ownership of assets. This is anything of value that can be converted into money. Of course we know about assets like houses and other properties, or even expensive collectibles, but there are more subtle assets that are totally intangible as well. What could these be? Let's find out!

Assets vs Liabilities and how to generate assets
Assets are things that put money in your pocket. Liabilities take money out of your pocket. Sounds simple enough, right? In this video, I’m going to explain to you exactly what assets are, as well as the difference between assets and liabilities, and how you can acquire assets.
I’m also going to debunk a couple of common misconceptions about assets (a home is not an asset, nor is a car) and provide a bunch of examples of assets you can purchase. Enjoy!

Financial Assets and Money- Macro 4.1 and 4.3
Hey macroeconomics students! In this video I explain the three functions of money, how economists classify money, the difference between stocks and bonds, and the relationship between interest rates and bond prices. I know it’s heavy on vocabulary, but there will be plenty of opportunities to draw graphs and make calculations later in this unit. Thanks for watching!
