In the context of spaceflight, a satellite is an artificial object which has been intentionally placed into orbit. Such objects are sometimes called artificial satellites to distinguish them from natural satellites such as Earth's Moon.
The world's first artificial satellite, the Sputnik 1, was launched by the Soviet Union in 1957. Since then, thousands of satellites have been launched into orbit around the Earth. Some satellites, notably space stations, have been launched in parts and assembled in orbit. Artificial satellites originate from more than 40 countries and have used the satellite launching capabilities of ten nations. About a thousand satellites are currently operational, whereas thousands of unused satellites and satellite fragments orbit the Earth as space debris. A few space probes have been placed into orbit around other bodies and become artificial satellites to the Moon, Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Vesta, Eros, Ceres, and the Sun.
On Through the Night is the debut album by English rock band Def Leppard, released in 1980. The album was produced by Tom Allom. It charted at No. 15 on the UK Albums Chart and No. 51 on the Billboard 200. The album features re-recorded versions of "Rocks Off" and "Overture", tracks from the band's original independently released EP, The Def Leppard E.P. Other tracks are re-recorded versions of early demos, some of which appeared on the First Strike and Warchild bootlegs. The album was certified platinum by the RIAA on 9 May 1989.
"Rocks Off", "Wasted", "Hello America" and "Rock Brigade" were released as singles. However, the versions of "Rocks Off" (titled "Getcha Rocks Off") and "Wasted" that appears on the singles is a different recording from that of the LP, as is its B-side, "Hello America". The single "Getcha Rocks Off" included the songs "Ride into the Sun" and "Overture".
The Satellite (Eupsilia transversa) is a moth of the family Noctuidae. It is distributed throughout the Palearctic.
This is a fairly variable species with greyish or reddish brown forewings, often marked with darker bands. The common name derives from the prominent stigma, ranging in colour from white or yellow to red, which has two smaller spots close to it, apparently “in orbit”. The hindwings are brown with a paler fringe. The wingspan is 40–48mm. This species flies at night from September to April and is active on mild nights throughout the winter. It will come to light but is more strongly attracted to sugar and various flowers.
Distribution
The species ranges from Ireland to Japan. Specifically, south to Northern Spain, Sardinia, Central Italy then Macedonia, Bulgaria, Asia minor and the Caucasus East to Central Asia and the Russian Far East and Siberia before reaching Japan. In the North, the geographical presence extends to Scotland and the Orkney Islands. Individuals are reported by Iceland. In Fennoscandia the range extends almost to the Arctic Circle, as well as in northern Russia. The species is very cold tolerant and lives in a variety of habitats, from forests to open grasslands, from the lowlands up to above the tree line. From temperate areas to the subarctic tundra. The species rises up to 1800 m in the Alps.
Fight is the eighth studio album of the German female hard rock singer Doro Pesch. It was released worldwide in 2002 by SPV/Steamhammer.
Fight is the first Doro album since Force Majeure to be produced with a strong contribution from the members of the band that accompanied the German singer on her tours. Nick Douglas, Joe Taylor and Johnny Dee had toured with Doro for more than ten years, while Oliver Palotai replaced Mario Parillo after his demise in 2001.
The songs of the album are the usual mix of aggressive metal and soft ballads, with a distinctive rawer sound than in previous albums. At this time Doro tried some versions of the songs in languages different form English or German. What remains of these recordings are the chorus of "Salvaje" in Spanish and the chorus of the single's b-side "Tourjour pour Gasner" in French. The list of musicians sees the contribution of various guests: Type O Negative vocalist Peter Steele, Savatage guitarist Chris Caffery, former Plasmatics bassist Jean Beauvoir, veteran composer Russ Ballard and usual collaborators Chris Lietz, Jürgen Engler and Andreas Bruhn.
The title track was used by German boxer Regina Halmich to introduce her performances, while "Always Live to Win" became the official theme of Rhein FireNFL Europe football team. "Legends Never Die" is a cover of a song performed by Wendy O. Williams on her album WOW of 1984.
The song is a metal-based number, comparable to Within Temptation or Evanescence in sound. Barbu sings about the need to "fight" in order "to face this cruel world", and sings that this is in fact the only way to get ahead. The melody line is provided by a violin, which Barbu herself plays in the video, as well as playing in the live performances. Barbu laughingly said that even though she couldn't play live at Eurovision (the rules forbid this), the background track violin is played by her and that it was actually a very easy part since she has been playing since she was seven years old.
The video features a number of schoolboys racing each other over what appears to be an unmarked cross-country course. Over the course of the song, all of the boys with one exception fall over, leaving one as the only victor.
A young sculptor with the features of a Greco-Roman statue is carving a statue in stone. As the statue takes form, it comes alive. A struggle begins where the statue fights back and carves the artist with a chisel. As the artist refines the features of his statue and makes it appear young and muscular, the statue carves the artist and makes him take on the features of an old and frail man. When the statue is finished, the artist falls to the ground.
Production
The film was produced by Hungarofilm and Pannonia Film Studio. Unlike Jankovics' feature films it was made quickly.

So Sorry | Satellite Ki Fight Pakistan Tight
A few days ago, India wrote history as ISRO placed its 100th satellite in orbit, thereby surpassing another milestone in its prestigious timeline. Meanwhile, our 'friendly' neighbours, who have been keeping a particularly keen eye on us, could not resist the burgeoning sense of insecurity in their minds. Since they are the model peaceful nation of the world, instead of launching a satellite, they launched a missile. Watch this hilarious episode of So Sorry to find out what happened to Pakistan's turbo-charged missile.
