Eye of the Needle is a spy thriller novel written by Welsh author Ken Follett. It was originally published in 1978 by the Penguin Group under the title Storm Island. This novel was Follett's first successful, bestselling effort as a novelist, and it earned him the 1979 Edgar Award for Best Novel from the Mystery Writers of America. The revised title is an allusion to the "eye of a needle" aphorism.
Operation Fortitude was an Allied counter-intelligence operation run during World War II. Its goal was to convince the German military that the D-Day landings were to occur at Calais and not Normandy. As a part of Fortitude the fictitious First United States Army Group (FUSAG) was created. FUSAG used fake tanks, aircraft, buildings and radio traffic to create an illusion of an army being formed to land at Calais.
In 1940 Henry Faber is a German spy, called 'die Nadel' ('The Needle') for the use of a stiletto as his trademark weapon, working at a London railway depot, collecting information on troop movements. Faber is halfway through radioing this information to Berlin when his widowed landlady stumbles into his room hoping for intimacy. Faber fears that Mrs. Garden will eventually realize that he was using a transmitter and that he is a spy, so he kills her with his stiletto, then resumes his transmission.
The book then introduces David, a trainee RAF pilot, and his bride Lucy. On their honeymoon David and Lucy are involved in a car crash. David loses the use of both his legs. Unable to fly in the Battle of Britain David grows embittered as he and Lucy retire to the isolated Storm Island off the east coast of Scotland.
"Eye of the Needle" is a song recorded by Australian recording artist Sia for her sixth studio album, 1000 Forms of Fear (2014). The song was released on 3 June 2014 as a promotional single by Inertia in Australia and Monkey Puzzle and RCA Records globally. It appeared on record charts of Australia, France and the United Kingdom.
Background and composition
"Eye of the Needle" was released as streamed audio as a promotional tool for Sia's album 1000 Forms of Fear on 2 June 2014. The song was written by Chris Braide and Sia, while production was handled by Greg Kurstin.
Voyager detects the signs of a wormhole and a course is set to investigate, in the hopes that it may shorten Voyager's journey to Earth. To the crew's disappointment, it is discovered to be a decaying micro-wormhole whose aperture is only about 30 centimetres (12in) in diameter. Nevertheless, Captain Janeway suspects that it could be used to transmit a message to the Alpha Quadrant, and a micro-probe is launched into the wormhole to determine where it exits.
However, the probe gets stuck in gravitational eddies, and is unable to pass any further. Meanwhile, a vessel at the other end of the wormhole is investigating and making scans of the probe. The crew of Voyager detect the scans and make contact, using the probe as a communications relay. The vessel identifies itself as a Romulan ship, and confirms that the wormhole does indeed exit in the Alpha Quadrant.
Janeway convinces the Romulan captain to take securely-transmitted messages from the crew which can be passed on to Starfleet and the family of Voyager's crew members.
Jerusalem is a novel by the Swedish writer Selma Lagerlöf, published in two parts in 1901 and 1902. The narrative spans several generations in the 19th century, and focuses on several families in Dalarna, Sweden, and a community of Swedish emigrants in Jerusalem. It is loosely based on a real emigration that took place from the parish of Nås in 1896.
The first four chapters of the first book were adapted into two ambitious films by Victor Sjöström in 1919 and 1920, Sons of Ingmar and Karin Daughter of Ingmar. Sjöström originally intended to film the entire suite, but decided to cancel the project after the second film received unenthusiastic critical response.Gustaf Molander picked up where Sjöström left, and released his adaptation of the first book, Ingmarsarvet, in 1925, followed by the second, Till Österland, in 1926. The Danish filmmaker Bille August directed a 1996 film version with the title Jerusalem.
Jerusalem, or on Religious Power and Judaism (German:Jerusalem oder über religiöse Macht und Judentum) is a book written by Moses Mendelssohn, which was first published in 1783 – the same year, when the Prussian officer Christian Wilhelm von Dohm published the second part of his Mémoire Concerning the amelioration of the civil status of the Jews. Moses Mendelssohn was one of the key figures of Jewish Enlightenment (Haskalah) and his philosophical treatise, dealing with social contract and political theory (especially concerning the question of the separation between religion and state), can be regarded as his most important contribution to Haskalah. The book which was written in Prussia on the eve of the French Revolution, consisted of two parts and each one was paged separately. The first part discusses "religious power" and the freedom of conscience in the context of the political theory (Baruch Spinoza, John Locke, Thomas Hobbes), and the second part discusses Mendelssohn's personal conception of Judaism concerning the new secular role of any religion within an enlightened state. In his publication Moses Mendelssohn combined a defense of the Jewish population against public accusations with contemporary criticism of the present conditions of the Prussian Monarchy.
Jerusalem and Dopesmoker are the final albums by the American heavy metal band Sleep. The albums were released in 1999 and 2003 respectively. The music for these albums was written during a four-year period when the group was working on a single song that was around an hour in length. Sleep had signed with London Records, which financed the album. When recording had finished, London Records was unhappy with the finished product and refused to release it. The album was later released in various forms by different record labels. All versions of the album received very positive reception from music critics, who described it as a high-water mark in both the stoner metal and doom metal genres.

Take me down
I'm feeling now
And if I move on
I admit you're gone
I ain't ready
I'll hold steady
I'll hold you in my arms
You're locked inside my heart
Your melody's an art
I wont let the terror in I'm stealing time
Through the eye of the needle
Step and repeat
Tears fall to the beat
Smile through pain
Feel the acid rain
I ain't ready
I'll hold steady
I'll hold you in my arms, in my arms, in my arms
You're locked inside my heart
Your melody's an art
I wont let the terror in I'm stealing time

Eye of the Needle Gate in Jerusalem
This is a tiny gate in the Old City of Jerusalem. Some people believe this is what Jesus was referring to when He said, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." The camel would have to be completely unloaded, kneel, then dragged through on a board.

Some people believe this is what Jesus was referring to when He said, "it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God." The camel would have to be completely unloaded, kneel, then dragged through on a board.

Is there an answer to it all? Can it be won?
