Eleonore Magdalene of Neuburg (Eleonore Magdalene Therese; 6 January 1655 – 19 January 1720) was Holy Roman Empress as the spouse of Leopold I, Holy Roman Emperor. Through her marriage, she was also Queen of Bohemia and Hungary, German Queen, and Archduchess of Austria. She served as Interim Regent in 1711. She was the paternal grandmother of Empress Maria Theresa.
Eleonor was given a good education in composition, music and poetry and could master several languages. Very early on, she displayed as very strong pious nature and fervent adherence with Catholicism, so much so that she expressed her wish to become a nun. She received several proposals, among them from James II of England.
Leopold I's Three Wives - The Habsburg Jaw in 3D - Royal Inbreeding in Europe
Thanks to a careful examination of Leopold I's portraits and reliefs a 3D model was created so we can see clearly the very interesting face and the characteristic Habsburg Jaw of this Holy Roman Emperor, King of Hungary, Croatia, and Bohemia. During whose lengthy reign (1658 to1705) Austria emerged from a series of struggles with the Turkish Empire and the French to become a great European power, in which monarchical absolutism and administrative centralism was rising.
We also see the faces of his three wives, Margaret Theresa of Spain, Claudia Felicitas of Austria and Eleonore Magdalene of Neuburg.

Cousins married cousins and uncles married nieces. All in the name of keeping wealth and power in the family and keeping their blood blue. They were oblivious to the havoc all this intermarrying was playing on their genetics. The tragic results were numerous family members with mental illness, intellectual disability, vulnerability to diseases, and a famously unusual continence which came to be known as the Hapsburg Jaw. Just how inbred where the Habsburgs? Short answer, very. Long answer, well, lets get into it!

Royals throughout history are notorious for inbreeding. But the European royal family by far infamously incestuous were the Habsburgs (Hapsburgs). The royal house ruled Spain from 1506 to 1700 and held the Holy Roman Empire from 1452 until 1806. These two branches of the family vollied brides back and forth like ping pong balls.

Charles II's uncle- How Leopold I Holy Roman Emperor and his three wives looked in real life. His first wife was his NIECE Margaret Theresa of Spain (Charles II of Spain the Inbred King's sister). His second wife was Claudia Felicitas of Austria a cousin. His third wife was Eleanore Magdalene of Neuburg, another cousin.
I transform his portraits as well as the portraits of his cousin-wives to see how everyone might have looked in real life.
Leopold I was Holy Roman Emperor 1640-1705. He was Charles II of Spain's uncle. Charles II's sister Margaret Theresa married this man. He too had a really big Habsburg Jaw and Chin but in this video we will see his fight to produce a male heir and how he drained and killed his cousin/niece wives.
