A battle or battaile was a medieval military formation, analogous and ancestral to the modern term battalion. In late medieval warfare, field armies were often drawn up into three main battles, also called guards: the vanguard, the middle guard, and the rearguard, often abbreviated to simply the van, middle, and rear. These terms imply, correctly, that the van preceded the middle, which in turn preceded the rear, into battle if the battles were arranged sequentially as a column. If arranged abreast, the van was on the right and the rear the left.
Battle (hangul: 배틀) was a South Koreanboy band that debuted on December 17, 2006 with the release of their first single "Crash". They are most popular for winning the reality show, Let's Coke Play! Battle Shinhwa!. The group includes Ryu, Tae-hwa, Lio, Chris, and Hwi-chan. Shin Ki-Hyun, who was chosen by Shinhwa's Eric, departed the group in 2008.
Formation
Though most members of boy bands are found through auditions or have been in training for years, the members of Battle instead participated in a popular reality show, Let's Coke Play! Battle Shinhwa!, hosted by the members of Shinhwa themselves. The show was sponsored by Good Entertainment, M-NET and Coca-Cola. The boys, originally six but now five, were hand-picked particularly by each of the Shinhwa members. They were chosen because of their singing, dancing, and endurance skills. Although Kim Jang Hyun was picked during the course of the show, he decided to leave the group due to conflicting musical styles. Dongwan, the one who picked Jang Hyun, replaced him with Hwichan.

EarthBound Beginnings, released as Mother in Japan, a 1989 role-playing video game for the Famicon (Nintendo Entertainment System) which later came to the US in 2015, available to download off the online store.
Earthbound is an EP by the British progressive metal band To-Mera produced by Ghost BC producer Jaime Gomez Arellano. It is the first release without former bass player and founding member Lee Barrett. It was self released following the band's split from the label Candlelight Records in mid-2009.
Earthbound is the twelfth album by American pop group The 5th Dimension, released in 1975 by ABC Records. It is the last album in the group's original line up with Billy Davis, Jr., Marilyn McCoo, Florence La Rue Gordon, Lamonte McLemore and Ron Townson. After touring with the 5th Dimension in support of this album, Billy Davis, Jr. and Marilyn McCoo (being married since 1969) left the group to work as duo and solo artists.
In contrast to most of their prior albums, Earthbound features synthesizers prominently in many of its tracks—particularly "Magic In My Life" and "Moonlight Mile." "Magic in My Life," the second and final single released from the album ("Walk Your Feet in the Sunshine" was the first), a fan favorite, was also unusual in that it was the first 5th Dimension single to feature Florence LaRue on the lead (she would frequently be the lead on successive 5th Dimension singles with various lineups).
While this album was not commercially successful, it remains a cult favorite among many 5th Dimension fans who consider it among their best work. Other fans take a dim view of it. Perhaps owing to its singular status as an ABC Records product, for decades the album remained the only one from the original 5th Dimension lineup not re-released on CD. However it finally was released on CD in June 2014, though Real Gone Music.
