Dudley Walker "Mush" Morton (July 17, 1907 – October 11, 1943) was a submarine commander of the United States Navy during World War II. He was commander of USSWahoo(SS-238) during its third through seventh patrols. Wahoo was one of the most-celebrated submarines of World War II, sinking at least 19 Japanese ships, more than any other submarine of the time. Morton and Wahoo disappeared in 1943 during a patrol near La Perouse Strait, and he was ultimately declared deceased three years later.
A native of Owensboro, Kentucky, Morton graduated from the Naval Academy in 1930. There he received the nickname "Mushmouth", after a character in the cartoon strip Moon Mullins whose large square jaw and prominent mouth resembled Morton's. The nickname was shortened to "Mush", by which he was known for much of his life.

Street Fighter III: New Generation(ストリートファイターⅢ NEW GENERATION) is a fighting game in Capcom's Street Fighter series, originally released as coin-operated arcade game in 1997. Street Fighter III was produced for the CD-ROM-based CP System III hardware, which allowed for more elaborate 2D graphics than the CPS II-based Street Fighter Alpha games (the previous incarnation of the Street Fighter series), while revamping many of the play mechanics. The game, which was designed as a direct sequel to Street Fighter II, initially discarded every previous character except for Ryu and Ken (hence the "New Generation" subtitle), introducing an all-new roster led by Alex. Likewise, a new antagonist named Gill took over M. Bison's role from the previous games as the new boss character.

The Submarine Japan Would Stop at Nothing to Destroy
After two months patrolling the Pacific, the Gato-class USS Wahoo submarine had exhibited an underwhelming performance. She had missed an opportunity to engage a Japanese seaplane tender and an aircraft carrier, both precious targets, and had also missed every single torpedo shot she fired. Even fishing boats had escaped her grasp!
Wahoo's commander was eventually relieved of his post, and the new one, Lieutenant Commander Dudley Walker "Mush" Morton, was determined to turn the tables on the submarine’s legacy.
For the following months, USS Wahoo became one of the most aggressive and formidable American submarines serving in World War 2. Her fearless assaults, unrelenting pursuits, and ruthless approach to combat soon became the subject of much fear within the Japanese Navy.

This daring defiance sent waves through Japan’s upper military echelons, igniting a fury. They retaliated with a relentless anti-submarine onslaught, ultimately sending Wahoo to the bottom of the sea.
The loss was a visceral punch to Vice Admiral Charles A. Lockwood, commander of the U.S. Pacific Fleet’s Submarine Force. He confessed in his diary: (QUOTE) “This is the worst blow we’ve had - I’m heartbroken. God punish the Japanese!”
Swearing vengeance for the lost Wahoo, the Vice Admiral faced a harsh reality. The treacherous Sea of Japan, now considered a crypt for the legendary American submarine, was declared off-limits by the U.S. Navy.
Yet, two years later, the embers of Lockwood’s dream finally burst aflame. A squadron of American Hellcat submarines, armed with revolutionary sonar technology and hungering for retribution, prepared to breach the chilling Sea of Japan for the first time since Wahoo’s fateful end.
Their mission was fraught with danger yet crystal clear: to navigate the enemy’s labyrinth of mine-laden waters, locate Japanese vessels, and strike them down. This spectacular demonstration of power was designed to teach Japan a painful lesson about the grave mistake of underestimating U.S. submarine might.
However, as Operation Barney commenced, the fearless American sailors, ready to avenge the fallen Wahoo, were woefully unaware of the nightmarish horrors lurking beneath the deceptive calm of the Sea of Japan…
