Attila (/ˈætᵻlə/ or /əˈtɪlə/; fl. 434–453), frequently referred to as Attila the Hun, was the ruler of the Huns from 434 until his death in March 453. Attila was a leader of the Hunnic Empire, a tribal confederation consisting of Huns, Ostrogoths, and Alans among others, on the territory of Central and Eastern Europe.
During his reign, he was one of the most feared enemies of the Western and Eastern Roman Empires. He crossed the Danube twice and plundered the Balkans, but was unable to take Constantinople. His unsuccessful campaign in Persia was followed in 441 by an invasion of the Eastern Roman (Byzantine) Empire, the success of which emboldened Attila to invade the West. He also attempted to conquer Roman Gaul (modern France), crossing the Rhine in 451 and marching as far as Aurelianum (Orléans) before being defeated at the Battle of the Catalaunian Plains.
He subsequently invaded Italy, devastating the northern provinces, but was unable to take Rome. He planned for further campaigns against the Romans but died in 453. After Attila's death his close adviser Ardaric of the Gepids led a Germanic revolt against Hunnic rule, after which the Hunnic Empire quickly collapsed.
Attila is a popular masculine name in both Hungary and Turkey. Another version of Attila in Hungary is Etele, the female equivalent of which is Etelka. Other versions of Attila used in Turkey are Atilla and simply Atila.
Etymology
It has been traditionally claimed that the name Attila is formed from Gothicatta, meaning "father", through the diminutivesuffix -ila, the "little father". Related names are not uncommon among Germanic peoples of the period, i. e. Ætla, Bishop of Dorchester. The Gothic etymology was made up by Jacob Grimm and Wilhelm Grimm in the early 19th century.Tom Shippey argued that the Gothic etymology is a product of 19th century Germanic romantic philological revisionism.
Otto Maenchen-Helfen, who considered Gothic etymology, noted that Hunnic names were "not the true names of the Hun princes and lords. What we have are Hunnic names in Germanic dress, modified to fit the Gothic tongue, or popular Gothic etymologies, or both".
Hyun Jin Kim noted Attila has more natural and probable Turkic etymology.Omeljan Pritsak considered ̕Άττίλα (Atilla) a composite title-name which derived from Turkic *es (great, old), and *t il (sea, ocean), and the suffix /a/. The stressed back syllabic til assimilated the front member es, so it became *as. It is a nominative, in form of attíl- (< *etsíl < *es tíl) with the meaning "the oceanic, universal ruler".Peter Golden, citing Pritsak, like László Rásonyi connected Attila's name with Menander note in which used term Attilan as the name of the Volga River (Turkic Atil/Itil; "great river").J.J. Mikkola connected it with Turkic āt (name, fame). Gerd Althoff considered it was related to Turkish atli (horseman, cavalier), or Turkish at (horse) and dil (tongue).
"Don't!" is a song co-written and recorded by Canadian country music singer Shania Twain. It was released in January 2005 as the second single from her Greatest Hits album. The song was written by Twain and then-husband Robert John "Mutt" Lange. The song was also included under the end credits of the 2005 film An Unfinished Life, and in the Brazilian soap opera América.
Music video
The music video for "Don't!" was shot in Oaxaca, Mexico at Quinta Real Hotel and Yucca plantation. It was filmed on October 24, 2004 and released January 2, 2005, it was directed by Wayne Isham. The video is available on some of the commercial singles for "Don't!". In 2006, CMT Canada named "Don't!" the eighth sexiest country music video.
In the video Twain rides a horse through rows of Yucca wearing a red dress, and walks around in the hotel wearing a white dress and corset. Near the end of the video, a tear runs down her face.
Chart performance
"Don't!" debuted on the Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks chart the week of January 29, 2005 at number 44, Twain's fourth highest debut of all time, and highest of the week. The single spent 15 weeks on the chart and climbed to a peak position of number 24 on April 2, 2005, where it remained for one week. "Don't!" became Twain's first single to miss the top 20 since 2000's "Rock This Country!".
"Don't" is a song performed by Elvis Presley, which was released in 1958. Written and produced by Jerry Leiber and Mike Stoller, it was Presley's eleventh number-one hit in the United States. "Don't" also peaked at number four on the R&B charts.Billboard ranked it as the No. 3 song for 1958.
"Don't" is a song recorded by English singer-songwriter, Ed Sheeran, for his second studio album, × (2014). Written by Sheeran and Benny Blanco and produced by Blanco and Rick Rubin, the song samples "Don't Mess with My Man" by Lucy Pearl. It was initially planned as the album's lead single, but was passed over in favour of "Sing". It was instead released to iTunes on 13 June 2014 as the second "instant grat" promotional single from ×. "Don't" officially impacted US contemporary hit radio on 15 July 2014 and was released independently on 24 August 2014 as the album's second single.
"Don't" peaked at No. 8 on the UK Singles Chart. In the US, it became Sheeran's first top 10 single. It also made the top 10 in eight other countries.
Background and composition
The song developed from a riff, which Sheeran had on his phone for a year. Sheeran first recorded the track with producer, Benny Blanco, who was also credited as co-writer under his real name, Benjamin Levin. Sheeran recorded it again with Rick Rubin. The two producers coming together to produce the final cut. "Don't" has R&B and blue-eyed soul influences.

Attila, the Huns and the Battle for Europe
The fall of the Xiongnu Empire lead to the migration of many tribes – especially Turkic ones – away from the Altai-Transbaikal area in eastern Central Asia into the west and southwest. These tribes arrived in places like modern-day Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Afghanistan and Kazakhstan and created new kingdoms. From the Kydarites to the Alchons and the Hepthalites ("White Huns"), these Hunnic states ruled over much of Central Asia in the migratory period from 200-560 CE, before the rise of the Göktürks, and some even went as far as India. Other post-Xiongnu states emerged along the frontier between China and the Eastern Eurasian Steppe, including the Tuoba Dynasty.

However, yet another – perhaps smaller – group migrated along the northern routes of the Eurasian Steppe Belt and arrived in the Ponto-Caspian region which connects Europe and Asia by the middle of the 4th century. Simply called "Huns", they invaded the European continent in 375 CE, slowly but steadily. Their attacks on neighboring tribes like the Goths (Germanic) and Alans (Iranic) further accelerated the migrations across all of Europe and led to the climax of the so-called "Barbarian Invasions". The Huns themselves arrived in Central Europe and founded a power center in modern-day Hungary.
Then, nearly a century after their arrival, a young and ambitious Hun called Attila took power. After killing off his brother Bleda, he ended the Hunnic system of dual kingship and – as sole leader of many tribes – started large-scale invasions of Western and Southern Europe. The Huns logically came into direct military conflict with the Western Roman Empire.
But contrary to popular belief, Huns and Romans used to be partners for a long time, cooperating against many Germanic tribes in Western and Central Europe. And unlike Western literature has suggested for several centuries, the Huns were never interested in conquering and permanently occupying places like Gaul or even Rome. Yet, Attila directly invaded the Italian peninsula, and had even planned to besiege Constantinople shortly before his death.
But why? How can the actions of the Huns be explained? Where did they come from in the first place? What language did they spoke? Did they live in yurts (tents) like their nomadic ancestors or became sedentary by building houses and creating larger settlements? And how did the fall of the Huns affect the history of Europe?
In this new documentary by Khan's Den, we are going to explore these and many other questions that have been either answered half-heartily by many scholars and historians or ignored altogether. We are also going to explain the culture of the Huns, their possible relations to Turks, Mongols and Germanic peoples, and their way of life along the western-most edge of the Eurasian Steppe Belt. Finally, we want to bring new perspectives to the history of the Huns, making way for new fresh debates about the legacy of Attila and his contemporaries. This is the Rise and Fall of the Hunnic Empire.

I AM THE DEVIL
IF YOURE DOWN WITH THE DEVIL SAY HELL YEAH
HELL YEAH
Learn to forget it & look ahead in the future again
IF YOURE DOWN WITH THE DEVIL SAY HELL YEAH
HELL YEAH
Sinning is winning lets start it from the beginning again
Don't forget the reason we're all here
To live our best life
Don't judge me based on your collusion
It's just a god damn lie
When will you see through the bullshit
Opinions = SHIT
Let me see your three 6
IM BURNING DOWN YOUR CHURCH LIKE
6-6-6
CAN YOU SMELL THE FIRE BURNING LIKE ITS
6-6-6
Will you live a life of indulgence
will you sit back and watch on the sidelines
Everything is nothing but an illusion
Stop judging us based on your guidelines
Keep your opinions to yourself bitch
Go live your life I'll live with my sins
Take a step back and see your delusion
You live a life based on lies and confusion
ONE TWO THREE FOUR
You know what you are
A pizza poser FUCK YOU
I've never seen you eat a slice
To you it's just a trend Pizza is my life
Thin crust deep dish double pepperoni
Elios stuffed crust no anchovies
Pizza rolls bagel bites
Cheesy crust is what I like
Put it in the oven
We can order delivery
I don't care I'm not very picky
Warm and delicious, spicy, sticky
Cut it into 8 squares or triangles
All I really want is pizza in me
Pizza is the greatest food on earth
I got drunk with papa john
He snorted cocaine with his apron on
He got too fucked up for delivery
It was over 30 minutes so my pizza was free
Pineapple doesn't belong on pizza
You fucking piece of shit
Why would you do this to me
I'm gonna peel your eyes
Out of your fucking skull
I will extract your blood
And use it as
