Mousse T. (born Mustafa Gündoğdu, 2 October 1966 in Hagen, North Rhine-Westphalia) is a German DJ and record producer of Turkish origin. He is best known for his collaboration with Tom Jones, "Sex Bomb", released on the album Reload.
Biography
One of the first producers of house music in Germany, alongside contemporaries Boris Dlugosch, DJ Tonka and Ian Pooley, Mousse T. began his career in 1990 as keyboard player for a small band known as Fun Key B. At the same time, he set up his own recording studio and began DJing in the city of Hannover. Besides working on his own productions, usually with partner Errol Rennalls, Mousse T. also wrote and produced tracks for other artists. In 1993, he founded, along with Rennalls, Peppermint Jam Records, a label specializing in uplifting house music and melodic acid jazz.
His 1998 production "Horny '98" featuring Hot 'n' Juicy (and a chorus sung by Inaya Day) on vocals reached the top of the Billboard dance charts in the late 1990s and Top 20 in the UK and Australia. It was also featured on Chef Aid: The South Park Album. His first album, Gourmet de Funk, was released in 2001. In 2004, he once again entered the Single Charts with his song "Is It 'Cos I'm Cool?", which is featured on his second album, All Nite Madness, also released in 2004. The song features the vocals of Emma Lanford.
Helmut Josef Geier, professionally known as DJ Hell (born September 6, 1962 in Altenmarkt an der Alz, Bavaria, DE), is a Germanhouse / technoDJ. He is the label boss of International DeeJay Gigolo Records and has been responsible for many of the big records to come out of the electroclash that emerged in Berlin in the mid-nineties. He is seen as the musical initiator of the 80's revival movement later known as electroclash popularizing the music from his hometown Munich from the mid to late 90's.
IMAs 4 track EP was released in 1980 on an independent label.
In September 2009, DJ Hell was at the centre of controversy when Felix da Housecat announced that DJ Hell's track "The DJ Ft. P Diddy", from the album Teufelswerk, used content taken without the permission of Felix da Housecat or P Diddy.
All Things Bright and Beautiful is the third studio album by the American electronica project Owl City, released on June 14, 2011. Despite receiving mixed critical reviews, it became a commercial success, reaching the No. 6 slot on the Billboard 200 album chart.
The album was originally planned to have a worldwide release date of May 24, 2011. It was then changed to May 17. On April 6, however, Young posted on his official site that the release date had been bumped to June 14, 2011. He stated that the reason for this was, "In an attempt to better connect the dots and ensure that every cloud in the sky is stitched together with its own special silver lining", and "with school finally out for the summer, it'll be a perfect time to sit back and watch the fireworks." Along with this post were previews of four tracks from the new album, each being 1:30 long. The previews posted were of "Alligator Sky (ft. Shawn Chrystopher)", "Deer in the Headlights", "Galaxies" and "Dreams Don't Turn to Dust".

Listen up! In the midst of the reawakening club scene, DJ Hell returns with the album House Music Box (Past, Present, No Future). Unlike its predecessor Zukunftsmusik (2017), with his new work, Hell looks back to the glorious early days of House and Techno in Chicago, Detroit, and New York City. Obvious points of references are the heroes that vibrated the dancefloor from the late 80s, i.e. luminaries like Ron Hardy, Frankie Knuckles and Lil’ Louis from the Chicago house scene, or the legendary radio shows of The Electrifying Mojo from Detroit. Not forgetting, of course, the NYC House of Larry Levan or the Nu Groove records from the early 90s – all of them serving as musical godfathers for Hell’s House Music Box.
Back to the roots. Accordingly, Hell’s Opus number six has become a classic album: House Music Box simply contains eight gripping new bangers from the groove manufacturer that is the super gigolo Hell. The record is not only a concept album about the beginnings of electronic DJ and club music, but also a danceable history lesson.
Past, Present, No Future – even if Hell’s deep bow to the trailblazers and pioneers of electronic club music was already completed when the corona pandemic broke out, the subtitle of House Music Box proved apt even in the light of the circumstances. Especially as the club scene is so seriously affected by the coercive measures of the crisis. It is therefore quite prophetic that on ‘Jimi Hendrix’ you can hear pieces of the last interview that the guitarist gave shortly before his controversial death. “I can’t build anything right now, you know, because of the things that are happing right now. I just have to lay back and think about it all.” House Music Box is, in many ways, the right record at the right time. Because as DJ Hell speaks about his album: ‘House Music for me has always been a spiritual experience, a higher, different form of communication, so to speak’. So, let’s listen carefully to what he brings forth about his musical excursions in the Past, Present and Future of House.
