Navi Radjou: Creative problem-solving in the face of extreme limits
Navi Radjou has spent years studying "jugaad," also known as frugal innovation. Pioneered by entrepreneurs in emerging markets who figured out how to get spectacular value from limited resources, the practice has now caught on globally. Peppering his talk with a wealth of examples of human ingenuity at work, Radjou also shares three principles for how we can all do more with less.

What is Creative Problem Solving (CPS) Process?
We are faced with challenges and problems in every phase of our lives. Our personal life, work life, literally everywhere. We need to constantly solve problems to make our lives easier. Interestingly enough, during our school years, we have never been taught on how to solve problems.
To solve our challenges and problems in life, we need to apply and make use of the Creative Problem Solving or CPS process. This video introduces the concept of the CPS process and will dive into each of the individual parts of the process in future videos.

How Does Creativity Help Solve Problems?
At this year's Aspen Ideas Festival, we asked a group of people who work in media, design, and the arts about how the creative process can lend itself to unlocking solutions. "Creativity is a problem-solving practice," says Anne Libera, director of comedy studies at Second City. "You have to risk, you have to fail—that's how you know where the edge is." Other panelists include Tim Brown, Bran Ferren, JR, Maurice Ashley, Lil Buck, Kelly Leonard, and Jane Chu.
