Constant Deviants is an American hip hop group from Brooklyn, New York. They garnered respectability in the crowded NYC underground scene
, although they have had little to no mainstream success in the US, with the exception of the song "Competition Catch Speed Knots", a 1996 Vestry Records release. They reached the Top 40 of the CMJ New Music Report with two singles, "Can't Stop" and "8th Wonder." in 1999 and 2000 on Brooklyn Pipeline/Buds Distribution.
Their members include DJ CuttDJ/Producer, M.I.Rapper/Producer. The group gained the attention of manager Mark Pitts after their demo was shopped around to various record labels in the late 1990s.

Early years and musical beginnings (1995-2005)
The duo began making music together in 1995 as teenagers. In a 2012 interview with the Village Voice M.I. stated:

The Deviants (formerly The Social Deviants) were an English rock group originally active in the late 1960s, but until his death in 2013, used as a vehicle for the musical work of writer Mick Farren.
Farren has stated that The Deviants were originally a community band which "did things every now and then—it was a total assault thing with a great deal of inter-relation and interdependence". Musically, Farren described their sound as "teeth-grinding, psychedelic rock" somewhere between The Stooges and The Mothers of Invention. The Deviants have been described as a transition between classic British psych and the punk/heavy metal aesthetic of the 1970s.

1960s
The Social Deviants were founded by singer/writer Mick Farren (born Michael Anthony Farren, 3 September 1943, in Gloucester, Gloucestershire) in 1967 out of the Ladbroke GroveUK Underground community, featuring Pete Munro on bass; Clive Muldoon on guitar, Mike Robinson on guitar and Russell Hunter on drums (born Barry Russell Hunter, 26 April 1946, in Woking, Surrey). The band shortened their name to "The Deviants" after Munro and Muldoon left and were replaced by Sid Bishop on guitar (born Ian Bishop, 17 December 1946, Balham, South West London) and Cord Rees on bass. With the financial backing of Nigel Samuel, the 21-year-old son of a millionaire, whom Farren had befriended, the group independently recorded their debut album Ptooff!, selling copies through the UK Underground press before it was picked up by Decca Records. This LP had been reissued on Drop Out Records (1992), Captain Trip Records (2004), Esoteric Recordings (2009), and Angel Air Records (2013); additionally, a 10" EP with excerpts from Ptooff!! was released on Alive/Total Energy Records (1996) under the name Social Deviants.
The Deviants first appeared in The Eternals #1 (July 1976), and were created by Jack Kirby.
Fictional history
They are an offshoot of the evolutionary process that created sentient life on Earth instigated by the alien Celestials, and wage war against their counterparts, the Eternals. According to the account of one Deviant in the 2006 mini-series, the Deviants were created as a delicacy to be consumed en masse by Celestials at periodic intervals once they multiplied sufficiently; however, the veracity of this has yet to be proven.
While the Eternals possess godlike power and are generally physically beautiful (by human standards), the Deviants (who sometimes refer to themselves as 'the changing people') are for the most part hideous (again, by human standards), with each member of their race possessing some random physical and/or cosmetic mutation that is by Celestial design never repeated within the sub-species. Extremely mutated or deformed Deviants are referred to as "mutates" and some of the monsters of myth and legend have in fact been identified as Deviant mutates. Some of these mutations can provide superhuman abilities, but their powers are usually not as great as those of the Eternals.
Archaeological remains can determine that it was inhabited during the time of the Romans.
The medieval village was established in 1153, after the conquest of Siurana. Was granted a town charter in 1159. Archbishop Espàrec de la Barca (1215) boosted its population, ordering build the castle, the first church and the city wall. The castle became the summer residence of the Archbishops of Tarragona.
Had suffered several attacks during the Catalan Revolt. On January 12, 1641 the town was attacked by the troops of Josep Margarit. In 1642 was attacked by Marshal La Mothe that turned the people as a base of operations. In 1649, after a siege of two days, the city fell to the troops of Juan de Garay. The church and castle were destroyed.
