How to Build a Sheep Wagon Undercarriage in the Wheelwright Trade | Engels Coach
The wheelwright trade involves building wheels and undercarriages. This sheep wagon gear will be built new, from scratch. The same style gear is used for chuck wagons, and farm wagons. I am building 1 gear for the sheep wagon and a second gear for the commissary wagon to be pulled in tandem. These are going to Idaho Sheep Camp Co., in Boise, ID and will be owned and displayed by the state of Wyoming at the Fort Steele State Historic Site. Thanks for watching!

Traditional Hand Painted Carriage Stripes | Engels Coach Shop
Sticking to traditional methods of striping enhances the finished values of restored buggies, carriages, coaches and wagons. I use combinations of dagger brushes, scripting brushes and liner brushes to accomplish my stripes and lettering in an attempt to keep the traditional skills alive. Building and restoring horse drawn vehicles has its many challenges, of which striping is just one of several. Thanks for following along.
