Goodbye, Sir Clive: A Tribute To Sir Clive Sinclair | Kim Justice
A tribute to the late Sir Clive Sinclair, creator of the ZX Spectrum, the C5, ZX80, ZX81, QL and many other products. The impact Sir Clive had is underappreciated, without him the UK computer and games industry would be completely different, and he will be sadly missed.

1981: Inventor CLIVE SINCLAIR on the ZX80 and TV80 | Pacesetters | Retro Tech | BBC Archive
Look East's Neil Lyndon looks at the extraordinary career of Clive Sinclair. The Cambridge inventor is on the cusp of releasing a new, flatscreen CRT pocket television, which may change television design for ever.
Sinclair had great success with the Sinclair Executive - an electronic pocket calculator, which he followed up with the ill-fated Sinclair Black Watch, only to bounce back with his low cost Sinclair ZX80 Home Computer.
Despite his success, rumours abound that Clive Sinclair's business acumen does not match his ingenuity as an inventor. Would he be better taking a back seat and concentrating solely on inventions?

Sinclair ZX Spectrum Story - Birth of a Classic | Nostalgia Nerd
The ZX Spectrum is 35 years old on 23rd April 2017, and it also holds a very special place in my heart, so it's time to wish it a happy birthday... It's the machine I grew up with and which led me to creating this very channel. I've covered the Sinclair ZX Spectrum in the past, but frankly I didn't do it justice, so we're revisiting Sir Clive's iconic 8 bit home micro in detail, starting with The Sinclair Years in this two part documentary.
This first part explores Clive Sinclair's early years, from his childhood to the formation of Sinclair Radionics in 1961, through the mini amplifier period, pocket calculator, black watch and finally his range of computers, starting with the MK14 and culminating in the ZX Spectrum 128k. We'll look at the people involved behind the Spectrum such as Jim...

We've done plenty on Sir Clive Sinclair in the past, but we've never really looked at the man himself...we've looked more at his image. This documentary examines the man himself, and looks at a whole bunch of products that AREN'T the Spectrum - from other computers like the ZX80, ZX81 and QL, to the Black Watch, TV-80, and - of course - the Sinclair C5. Enjoy!
