Cheryl Wheeler (born July 10, 1951) is an Americansinger-songwriter of contemporary folk music, based in New England. To date, she has recorded thirteen folk albums, and has toured extensively throughout the United States.
Wheeler was born in Timonium, Maryland, where she attended Dulaney High School. She performed at clubs in the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore area. She moved to Rhode Island in 1976, where she played at various clubs in the New England area. Jonathan Edwards asked her to tour with him when his bass player became unavailable. He has since produced a number of her albums. Wheeler and her partner, Cathleen, were married in 2004.
Performances
Wheeler tours extensively, and her live concerts include comic routines and serious discussions in addition to the songs themselves. About half of the songs she performs in concerts are not available on any of her albums. Many never get recorded, and eventually fade from her set list. Although she mostly tours alone, she has also toured with Kenny White (who produced a number of her albums). White generally opens for her, and then plays and sings harmony during Wheeler's set. Wheeler has also toured with the Christine Lavin-inspired tour "On a Winter's Night", and occasionally as part of Lavin's consortium Four Bitchin' Babes.
Cheryl Wheeler-Dixon (born 1960) is a stunt woman, stunt double, and stunt driver in the US movie industry. She has also been credited as Cheryl Wheeler-Duncan, Cheryl Wheeler, Cheryl M. Wheeler, and Sheryl Wheeler. She has been stunt double for Rene Russo, Kathleen Turner, and Goldie Hawn. She has two daughters, and with her husband, Lindsey Duncan, owns Genesis Today, Inc., a nutritional supplement company in Austin, Texas and a multi-level marketing offshoot called Genesis Pure.
Early years
Cheryl Wheeler began studying Yoshukai Karate at fifteen years-old in Pensacola, Florida, with instructor Gerry Blanck. She began kickboxing when her instructor began training an amateur team, but her championship matches were considered professional, as she was paid for the work. Wheeler-Dixon also studied Judo, Aikido, and grappling and trained for a while with kickboxer and actor Don Wilson. She is a three-time WKA World Kickboxing Champion with a record of 17-1-1 and a 2nd degree black belt in Yoshukai Karate.
Clearwater is a city located in Pinellas County, Florida, United States, northwest of Tampa and St. Petersburg. To the west of Clearwater lies the Gulf of Mexico and to the southeast lies Tampa Bay. As of the 2010 census, the city had a population of 107,685. It is the county seat of Pinellas County. Clearwater is the smallest of the three principal cities in the Tampa-St. Petersburg-Clearwater metropolitan area, most commonly referred to as the Tampa Bay Area. According to the Guinness Book of World Records, Clearwater holds the record for most consecutive days of sunshine in a single year, with 361 days.
Florida (officially Florida Este) is a mostly residential barrio of the Vicente López Partido in the northern suburbs of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is principally a middle-class neighbourhood and is located between the barrios of Olivos and Vicente López, also in the same partido (department).
Location
The city is located between The Autopista Pascual Palazzo (mostly known as "Panamericana" or "Acceso Norte") highway and the Maipú Avenue. The Acceso Norte splits the district into two neighborhoods: Florida Este (from Panamericana to Maipú Avenue) and Florida Oeste (from Panamericana to De los Constituyentes Avenue).
Florida is served by the Mitre Line, which provides easy access to the city of Buenos Aires. Due to the railway lines, Este and Oeste neighborhoods are also called "Florida Mitre" or "Florida Belgrano". Its main commercial area is centered on General San Martín avenue.
History
Florida was founded in 1891 when the Buenos Aires and Rosario Railway opened a station in the section from Belgrano that then reached Bartolomé Mitre, Borges and San Isidro. Some versions state that the station (and subsequently the village) was named "Florida" to commemorate a victory over Spanish army in the Paraje La Florida of Alto Perú on May 25, 1814, during the War of Independence.
The station is located below the Avinguda Catalunya, between the Carrer Ceravalls and Carrer Mimoses. It has two entrances, from the Placa Blocs Florida and the Avinguda Masnou, which serve an underground ticket hall. The two 98-metre (322ft) long side platforms are at a lower level.

This is a lonely life As I know you know too well I'm thinking of you tonight Here in the Sylvia Hotel. Smoking a cigarette Drinking a glass of beer Catching a conversation I am trying not to hear. One more Why not, okay Guess I'm glad I came To stare at English Bay Under all the rain. There's a cat in this bar right now Twitching his tail away I called with a soft meow Maybe he only speaks Francais. You must be safe in bed Down in your cowboy home I don't wonder why you left I wonder why you stayed so long. One more Why not, okay I'm glad I came And here's to English Bay In the lovely rain. I found some matches from Durango in my pocket But if I let my heart get sad then I can't stop it. And this is a lonely life Though I think it suits me well And everything's fine tonight
