How Can a Nonprofit Partner with Businesses?
Mixing business and charity seems like it’s all the rage. Done well, it can be an effective way to both further the mission and raise financial support. In this video, we’re going to explore examples of each.
Out of the gate, I want to say that this video is NOT about nonprofits which have wholly owned for-profit subsidiaries, nor ones with any legal ownership stake in another company. We’re going to keep this one focused on partnering with existing businesses, of which the nonprofit has no direct stake or control.
We want to look at 2 specific areas of focus: money and mission. We’ll follow up with a twist on mission. Here we go!

5 Biggest MISTAKES Your Nonprofit Makes
Wouldn’t it be nice if every time we start to do something stupid, someone would be there to intervene before we did it? You know, like jump out and scream, ‘DON’T DO IT!” Of course, that person is probably already your spouse, and you’re doing a lousy job of listening to them, so maybe it wouldn’t help after all.
Here we go!

Whether you’re starting a consulting firm, a retail store, or the next Silicon Valley unicorn entrepreneurs face risk... even the social entrepreneur who is starting a nonprofit. But I would suggest that for some social entrepreneurs, the risks are even higher, especially since they cannot own the nonprofit they’re starting. See our recent video about who really owns a nonprofit to understand more about that. We’ll put a link in the description below.

You can actually write off up to 60% of your adjusted gross income! Find out exactly how much in this video.
Toby Mathis with Anderson Business Advisors sharing my wisdom on on non-profits. This is a topic that's near and dear to my heart.
I have a personal philosophy that basically states that if you're good at making money, you should be very generous and make sure that you're taking care of those who can't.
I get this from something called The Gospel of Wealth that was written by Andrew Carnegie more than a hundred years ago, Where he basically stated that millionaires were the trustees of the poor.
In other words, not that you just give money away but that you do good works with your money and help those that may be not as fortunate as you or maybe they're not as good at making money as you are.
If you are good at making money, one of the best places to put it, is inside of your own non-profit.
Nonprofit foundations or charitable organizations can also be a great legacy tool to make sure that your kids are taken care of because they always have a place to work.

FOR COMPLETE LECTURE on Program Manager VS Project Manager, and More Lectures on Project Management from AIMS, visit: https://aims.education/project-manager-vs-program-manager-7-major-differences/
A program manager is a professional who oversees the overall direction and coordination of a company's programs. Program managers typically work in businesses or organizations that operate multiple programs with complex structures. They are responsible for ensuring that these programs are well organized and run efficiently. In many cases, program managers also develop and implement strategies for their programs. This involves setting goals, designing plans, and coordinating resources. Additionally, program managers may be responsible for monitoring progress and assessing results. Ultimately, the goal of a program manager is to ensure that a company's programs are successful and meet all objectives.
There are a few key differences between a program manager and a project manager. A program manager is responsible for coordinating multiple projects, whereas a project manager is responsible for managing a single project. A program manager is also responsible for ensuring that the projects they are overseeing are aligned with the organization's overall strategy, whereas a project manager is only responsible for the project they are managing. Furthermore, program managers typically have more experience and training than project managers.
