Future Film Ltd (Future Film Oy) is a Finnish-based home-video distribution company headquartered in Vaasa. From early to late 1990s they were best known as the distributors of children's animation. Future Film's releases were dubbed occasionally by Golden Voice OY (such as the wildly popular Ginga: Nagareboshi Gin) but most frequently they utilized the services of the infamous Agapio Racing Team.
In recent years they have become prolific distributors of anime. Their releases include titles such as Love Hina and School Rumble, Fruits Basket, Berserk, Ginga Densetsu Weed and so on. This move was possibly motivated by the popularity of the uncut DVD version of Nagareboshi Gin. Also possibly due to this move, their current anime releases feature subtitles rather than dubbing, which is actually the preferred standard for most television programs and theatrical films in Finland.
Additionally Future Film has been doing motion-picture home video releases since the early 1990s.
The area now known as Islington was part of the larger manor of Tolentone, which is mentioned in the Domesday Book. Tolentone was owned by Ranulf brother of Ilger and included all the areas north and east of Canonbury and Holloway Road. The manor house was situated by what is now the east side of Hornsey Road near the junction with Seven Sisters Road. After the manor decayed, a new manor house was built in 1271 (see below) to the south-east; to differentiate it from the original manor and because it was on a hill, it was called Highbury, from which the area takes its name.
The site for Highbury Manor was possibly used by a Roman garrison as a summer camp. During the construction of a new Highbury House in 1781, tiles were found that could have been Roman or Norman; unfortunately these have been lost.
Highbury Manor
Ownership of Highbury eventually passed to Alicia de Barrow, who in 1271 gave it to the Priory of St John of Jerusalem, also known as the Knights Hospitallers in England. The wealthy Lord Prior built Highbury manor as a substantial stone country lodging with a grange and barn.
Highbury Ward is an electoralward in Hitchin, Hertfordshire. It covers 230.174 hectares. It is a largely residential area bounded roughly to the north by the A505, to the south west by the A602, and by the railway line to the east. Schools in the ward include Highbury JMI and Whitehill Junior School.
The Red House, a large red brick house that used to be the seat of the owner of the orchards that made up most of the surrounding area up until the Industrial Revolution, is also found on Whitehill Road.
Wymondley Park FC is probably Hitchin's longest-established youth football club. It was started by parents of children at William Ransom school in 1981. It now caters for 200-250 players aged 8–18 years in around a dozen team, generally playing in the Royston Crow League. In 2009 a group of former Wymondley Park FC players formed an adult team playing in the Hitchin Sunday League, Wymondley Park Old Boys FC. They play at The Priory School in Hitchin.
Birmingham (Live with Orchestra & Choir) is a 2013 live album by Steve Harley & Cockney Rebel, featuring the Orchestra of the Swan and their Chamber Choir Orchestra Conductor Andrew Powell, who was the man who did the string arrangements on the original studio albums. The album, a Comeuppance production, was released by Absolute via Universal. A DVD version of the performance was also released at the same time.
Background
The album was recorded and filmed live at the Birmingham Symphony Hall, England on 24 November 2012. The band, with the orchestra and chamber choir, made up about 50 performers together, and performed the band's first two albums The Human Menagerie and The Psychomodo in their entirety - with some of the songs entirely new to the stage. The sold-out show was a one off performance of the two albums, and also included Spandau Ballet's Steve Norman on saxophone and percussion. Aside from the two albums performed, the band also played three additional tracks on the night; "Judy Teen" (the band's UK Top 5 hit single from 1974), "Stranger Comes to Town" (the title track from Harley's 2010 album) and "Black or White" (from the 1976 album Timeless Flight. Harley commented "It's been a long time coming - something like 39 years. Now we're here, at last, with an orchestra and a choir and a big rock band, to play those first two albums pretty well the way they appeared on the original vinyl. Maybe some things should never change, in spite of progress. Welcome, my old friends."
Birmingham was founded in 1871, during the post-Civil WarReconstruction period, through the merger of three pre-existing farm towns, notably, former Elyton. It grew from there, annexing many more of its smaller neighbors, into an industrial and railroad transportation center with a focus on mining, the iron and steel industry, and railroading. Birmingham was named for Birmingham, England, UK; one of that nation's major industrial cities. Most of the original settlers who founded Birmingham were of English ancestry. In one writer's view, the city was planned as a place where cheap, non-unionized, and African-American labor from rural Alabama could be employed in the city's steel mills and blast furnaces, giving it a competitive advantage over industrial cities in the Midwest and Northeast.
❤️THE LAST MATCH AT HIGHBURY | Arsenal 4-2 Wigan | Classics highlights | 2006

Highbury stadium used to be home to Arsenal FC and was built (in part) by my favourite stadium architect Archibald Leitch.
In 2006, Arsenal moved to the Emirates but what remains of Highbury is staggering! I love how much of it still exists. Legendary bosses like Herbert Chapman & Arsene Wenger would've managed there. Players like Thierry Henry & Ian Wright banged in hundreds of goals there. To knock it down completely would've been a travesty.

The story of the Farewell to Highbury Kit: Arsenal’s 2005-06 Redcurrant Shirt
Highbury meant (and still means) a lot to Arsenal fans.

May 7, 2006 was an unforgettable day for Arsenal fans as they left their home.
But what's the story behind that kit and why do fans still love it so much? We found out...

Temperatures boiled over before a ball was kicked when Arsenal hosted Manchester United in February 2005. Roy Keane had a heated exchange with Patrick Vieira in the Highbury tunnel as the teams were preparing to walk out. Manchester United went on to win the game 4-2.
