I decided to edit together a video containing some clips that I took from my Phantom 4 while in Cedartown a few months ago. In this video, you can see the railway station, fire department, downtown, the now abandoned first national bank, and the 2001-130 siren at the board of education. I am hoping to get out and record some more aerial videos now that the wind has died down a bit and the temperature has risen. I also decided to change up the end card a bit since the plain white text was looking kind of dated and plain. Thanks for watching :D.

Big Spring Park in Cedartown, Georgia
Historical markers at Big Spring Park in Cedartown note that the area around the spring was first inhabited by the Cherokee. The spot would later become a military camp where Cherokee were held before being forced to deportation camps in Tenessee and later marched to Oklahoma. Plaques remind visitors of the location’s role in the Trail of Tears.
The “Camp at Cedar Town” was one of 15 removal forts and encampments in Georgia identified by the Georgia Chapter of the Trail of Tears Association.
Today the spring provides water for 10,000 people in Northwest Georgia.
