Nashville's Best Happy Hour | Butchertown Hall | 4K
If you know me by now, you know I'm a sucker for a good happy hour! It makes me...well HAPPY! One of my most favorite Happy Hours in Nashville is right in the heart of Germantown at Butchertown Hall. I am lucky to have lived in this neighborhood for 10 years. I've seen it change and evolve so much. It's been pretty cool to see all the new things, especially all the new and delicious food spots! Butchertown is one of my MUST GO-TO's. Watch and see why!

Copper and Kings Butchertown and Northern Soul reviews
I'm having a little bit of a moment with American brandy - I lost my mind over a Single Cask Laird's (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yvSqiU-RDaY) as the major case in point. As a sequel I thought it would be fun to do a whole video devoted to Copper and Kings, the Louisville firm that's been leading the recent charge. I already reviewed their Pear Brandy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AMleGFQkHmE), but that was sourced - here we're dealing with their own stuff, at least for the most part. Here's the stats:
- Copper and Kings Butchertown Reserve Casks Brandy (copper pot distilled, 75% ex-bourbon and 25% new American oak casks; non-chillfiltered, no color/sugar/boisé added, bottled around 2019; 62% ABV), 86/100
- Copper and Kings Northern Soul Apple Brandy Single Cask (selected by Binny'...

Both of these are huge, hilarious cartoon characters and the mixologists will have a field day with them. The Butchertown is, for me, the real revelation - I have no idea what grapes are used in this, where it's all coming from, how old it is, how much of it is from C&K's own stock, or really anything. But against the respectable Peugeots and Citroëns coming from the French oak folks at Germain Robin and, well, all of Cognac, it's a wonderfully obnoxious high-proof quercus alba Ford F-450. Break this Kentucky monster out among good friends. (This video was uploaded earlier today with the sync off, apologies. Also, for reference, my Calvados video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YyStANBTVTs)

The spotlight found another fool The crowd has gone away There's a shabby sunset At the end of your big day A joker in your finest hour With aces up your sleeve The clock has struck - you're out of luck And now it's time to leave Time to rest my clever friend But first we must take flight Time to find where jesters nest When day turns into night There's a place, if we make haste Where we can hdie away Watch our shabby sunset At the end of our big day Chorus Everything is concrete now Concrete is the queen whose kingdom crumbles down In Butchertown Everything is metal now Metal is the king whose crown is melted down In Butchertown Something in the air down here Describe it if I could I don't know what it is But I know it isn't good Something in the air down here I wish could explain I don't know what it is But I know it isn't same
