Jessica Harp grew up with her parents and her sister, Annie in Kansas City, Missouri. She began singing when she was three, writing lyrics when she was eight, and picked up guitar at 13. "Break Up" is the first single from Mario's fourth studio album D.N.A., it features Gucci Mane and Sean Garrett. The lead single was produced by Bangladesh, written by Sean Garrett and Shondrae Crawford, mixed by Fabian. The single was first premiered on the radio station V-103 at March 30, 2009 with Greg Street. Some vocals in the chorus sample Surf Club's "I Can't Miss".
Song Composition
Break Up was composed using a loop from Image-Line's FL Studio software named "flute riff." The drums are simplistic and resemble Bangladesh's previous produced songs such as Beyoncé's "Diva" and Lil Wayne's "A Milli."
Song history and production
He describes the song as, "it’s a little bit of everything on this record. That’s why I love it. Sean is like a brother to me. He knows me. So, when he did this record, he was definitely thinking about me. It’s a club record and every man has experienced this situation before. It’s like why would you want to break up with me when you gon’ get the same thing with the next man. But, he ain’t gon do it as fly as I can. I can’t wait to perform it. It’s going to be a movie. Look for the movie! We’re not calling this a single or a video, we’re calling it a movie
Pixie Lott is the third studio album by English recording artist Pixie Lott, released on 1 August 2014 by Virgin EMI Records. Lott began recording the album in mid-2012, citing Motown as an influence on the album. "Nasty" was released as the album's lead single on 7 March 2014. The second single, "Lay Me Down", was released on 25 July 2014.
Background
In June 2012, Lott revealed plans to record a Motown-influenced album. "I'm going to be heading to New York to work with the guys who did the original Motown records in the sixties to make a new album soon", Lott told the Daily Star. The album was primarily recorded in London and New York City, as well as in Miami.
The album was finished by June 2013, when Lott stated that she hoped to release the first single in October, and the album would follow in 2014. During a Google+ Hangout on 2 December 2013, Lott announced that her third album would be titled Pixie Lott, along with the accompanying artwork. She explained to Billboard that the album would be self-titled because this one "represents me the most out of all of my albums", adding, "My last album had some dance tracks and some soul tracks, but this one is more centered."

LYRICS
i like who i am, but i guess you don't
i think that i can, but you think i won't
amount to anything at all
if you love me you sure show it strange
is there anything that you wouldn't change?
i can't be your paper doll
i wanna be perfect, but i'm me
i wanna be flawless, but you see
every little crack, every chip, every dent, every little mistake, yeah
i wanna be perfect, just like you
but there's only so much that a girl can do
when i look in the mirror what i see
makes sense to me, yeah
perfectly
perfectly
i like tennis shoes, you like high heels
and fantasies, but i'm whats real
i guess you could say the shoe don't fit
maybe i'm from venus, you're from mars
my imperfections are what they are
i guess one of us must deal with it
i wanna be perfect, but i'm me

Walking around, head in my hands Wish on a star and breathe if i can Because i'm choking on lies You told me enough But i'd take them some more If you'd walk back through the door Cause i miss you love And i need to feel Like i'm a part of something real I miss you love Multi-colored dreams are all that i have Because my reality is enough to make a girl go mad I keep on telling myself I'm gonna rise above But this thorny crown Well it's weighing me down I miss you love I was your princess for so long But it all went wrong I miss you love My eyes bear the weight of your smile I'd just love to hear you talk for awhile And take me back in those familiar arms Without the unnecessary charms Baby i think we could get it all back Even make up all that it lacked Just tell me i'm your girl And that you're still in love Because you made me complete From my head down to my feet I miss you love And i need to feel Like i'm a part of something real I miss you love
