As with the research articles, we harvest these teaching materials to appear in our faculty profiling system, Scholars@TAMU, which identifies potential items in OAKTrust collections and routes the items to faculty as their pending publications. Faculty members are notified by emails from Scholars about their pending works, and then they log into the system to claim their items. This automatic process may help account for the rising popularity of the service among faculty.

Been meaning to make something on this topic for some time, so I'm glad I was able to find some time to produce this, where I show how languages and biological populations evolve by nearly the same processes, allowing the same approach of classification to apply to both.

- At 4:33, I should've used Østnorsk instead of Bokmal because Bokmal is primarily the most common *written language* when the most common *spoken language* that standardizes the pronunciation for foreign speakers is the Østnorsk dialect: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modern_Norwegian

1. Integrating Faculty Teaching Materials into a Repository-to-RIMS Workflow: The TAMU Libraries’ Institutional Repository, OAKTrust, provides access to the University’s research. Recently, we have created collections for TAMU authors’ textbooks and other teaching materials.
2. Preparing for a name disambiguation application for institutional repositories at Texas A&M University: the planning and test preparation stages : At Texas A&M University Libraries, a cross-departmental task group was formed to examine possible solutions to the lack of authority control in the Libraries’ institutional repositories. It recommended the development of an app that would utilize internal identifiers and existing ones (ORCID, etc.) to disambiguate the names of persons and other entities. Our presentation will focus on the initial work of the task group in planning the app, and the cleanup of a sample of personal names to prepare for the testing of the future prototype of this app. Finally, we will highlight future steps for our project.
