Bob Ronka (born c. 1943) was a member of the Los Angeles City Council from the San Fernando Valley's 1st District between 1977 and 1981. For a brief time he represented Leslie Van Houten in the Manson Family criminal murder case.
Biography
Ronka was born about 1943, the son of Ilmari Ronka, first-chair trombonist in the NBC Symphony Orchestra, and Loraine Vera Aalbu of Minneapolis, Minnesota, who worked with her sisters as vaudeville artists. Besides Bob, there was a daughter, Harriet (later Hodge). The family moved to California in 1945, and Ronka attended North Hollywood High School, where he played trombone in a dance-band workshop that studied music ranging from the big-band sound of the early 1930s to the progressive jazz of Stan Kenton. He also played with the Dixie Smallfry youth group sponsored by radio-television personality Bill Baldwin.
The Brutal Truth of Being a WWII Fighter Pilot | #5
An honest, poignant interview with a WWII fighter pilot named Robert (Bob) Sharp.
Bob Sharp flew several dozen combat missions in WWII, piloting a Republic P-47D Thunderbolt. He shares some incredible career stories in this interview we were grateful to conduct, such as fighting against the Luftwaffe, narrowly surviving several harrowing encounters, and the early ending of his career back in the United States.
During WWII, Sharp flew with the 397th Fighter Squadron, 368th Fighter Group, 9th Air Force. After the war, in the California Air National Guard, he flew with the 146th Fighter Group.

Lyrics:
False pretender, stop pretending
All gals single have dem singing, watch this
See, ain't no use pretending
You don't feel the way I do
With this message that your body's sending
Well, I can tell you want it too
Well, do you wanna hide the way you feel inside
It's too late to turn back now
Every little touch, it means so much
So, girl just let me show you how
Your body can't lie to me
'Cuz I know just what you're needing
Your body can't lie to me
'Cuz you're in need of some sexual healing
