Deepening into Regenerative Practice - Conversation between Bill Reed & Daniel Wahl
In this conversation that I had with Bill Reed on January 2nd 2020, we explore the following:
How to guide people towards the depth of regenerative practice now that everyone seems to want a piece of 'regenerative' and the term is being coopted for marketing speak?
How to we stay true to the depth of practice and start from personal development as participants in a whole?
How do we get the core principles of regenerative practice to inform the way we work?
The difference between being hired to deliver a project and working to enable an evolutionary process.
"My minister doesn't get to say the xxxx you say Bill, you are fired!" and what's amazing is they end up hiring me back within a year.
The three dimension of existence: being, will and function
How do we unleash the genius that i...

"Regenerative tourism, a paradox?" Bill Reed, Anna Pollock & Daniel Wahl in conversation
On Monday, March 14th I caught up with my friends Anna Pollock and Bill Reed. Anna had just come back from a long tour of Mexico visiting many amazing local projects and yet she felt rather disillusioned by the propositions or false promises that many people are now making about regenerative tourism.
Departing from the admission that neither of us know what 'regenerative tourism' might look like, this is more of a open ended exploration among friends in the work, in which we openly share our own current reflections about whether and how tourism might help to weave regenerative patterns of relationship between people and place.
