Greater Poland Voivodeship (in Polish: Województwo Wielkopolskie[vɔjɛˈvut͡stfɔvjɛlkɔˈpɔlskʲɛ]), also known as Wielkopolska Voivodeship or Wielkopolska Province, is a voivodeship, or province, in west-central Poland. It was created on 1 January 1999 out of the former Poznań, Kalisz, Konin, Piła and Leszno Voivodeships, pursuant to the Polish local government reforms adopted in 1998. The province is named after the region called Greater Poland or Wielkopolska[vjɛlkɔˈpɔlska]. The modern province includes most of this historic region, except for some south-western parts.
Greater Poland Voivodeship is second in area and third in population among Poland's sixteen voivodeships, with an area of 29,826 square kilometres (11,516sqmi) and a population of close to 3.4million. Its capital city is Poznań; other important cities include Kalisz, Konin, Piła, Ostrów Wielkopolski and Gniezno (an early capital of Poland). It is bordered by seven other voivodeships: West Pomeranian to the northwest, Pomeranian to the north, Kuyavian-Pomeranian to the north-east, Łódź to the south-east, Opole to the south, Lower Silesian to the southwest and Lubusz to the west.
The relevant Polish legislation ("The Act of 23 January 2004 on Elections to the European Parliament") establishing the constituencies does not give the constituencies formal names. Instead, each constituency has a number, territorial description, and location of the Constituency Electoral Commission. The 2004 Polish National Election Commission and the 2004 European Parliament Election website uses the territorial description when referring to the constituency, not the electoral commission location.
Poland is a historical novel written by James A. Michener and published in 1983 detailing the times and tribulations of three Polish families (the Lubonski family, the Bukowski family, and the Buk family) across eight centuries, ending in the then-present day (1981).
Overview
Michener was hired by a television company to travel to a foreign country to shoot a documentary. He was offered support to go anywhere in the world and Michener decided to make the trip to Poland. Following this, Michener made several trips back to Poland and conducted extensive study of Poland's history and culture. He began writing the book in 1979 and it was published four years later.
Like Michener's other works, he includes an acknowledgments section at the beginning of the book; however due to the political turmoil in Poland at the time, Michener decided not to include the names of the people he traveled with for fear of persecutions against them. He writes: "Normally, as I have done in my other novels, I would list their names, their impressive occupations, their achievements in research and scholarship, but I cannot ascertain whether in the present climate this would hurt or help them."
The 2004 European election was the sixth election to the European Parliament. However, as Poland had only joined the European Union earlier that month, it was the first election European election held in that state. The election took place on June 13.
The elections resulted in a heavy defeat for the governing Alliance of the Democratic Left and Labor Union parties, although the very low turnout makes a direct comparison with national election results difficult. As expected the most successful party was the Civic Platform. Second place was taken by the strongly anti-EU League of Polish Families.

Greater Poland Voivodeship Speedart
SilesianKluskiBoiNator XD-King here :)
This is another speedart video of the Greater Poland Voivodeship. The flag is much smaller than other Voivodeships, making it a little bit tricky and I've drawn around the circle tool countryball to make it more natrual. If you like it, leave a like and subscribe. If you have any questions for me, ask me in the comments :)
To kolejne wideo Speedart z województwa wielkopolskiego. Flaga jest znacznie mniejsza niż w innych województwach, przez co jest nieco trudna, a ja narysowałem koło countryball narzędzia, że może być bardziej natrualne.
