Joseph Haydn's Symphony No. 98 is credited as the first symphony he (or anyone else) wrote in that key in which he included trumpet and timpani parts. Actually, his brother Michael Haydn had written one such symphony earlier, No. 36, though Joseph Haydn still gets credit for writing the timpani part at actual pitch with an F major key signature (instead of transposing with a C major key signature), a procedure that made sense since he limited that instrument to the tonic and dominant pitches. Many editions of the work, however, use no key signature and specify the instrument as "Timpani in B-flat–F".
The major scale or Ionian scale is one of the most commonly used musical scales, especially in Western music. It is one of the diatonic scales. Like many musical scales it is made up of seven notes: the eighth duplicates the first at double its frequency so that it is called a higher octave of the same note (from Latin "octavus", the eighth).
The simplest major scale to write is C major, the only major scale not to require sharps or flats:

LESSON DESCRIPTION:
How well do you know the five major scale guitar patterns?
Do you know them equally well or do you jump to some scale patterns more than others?
Most importantly, can you clearly see where all the roots are within each of the guitar patterns? Knowing where the roots are within major scale forms is everything.
Seeing the roots clearly allows us to actually treat a major scale pattern as minor (or another mode), and helps us to track where we are in a key.
Needless to say this is invaluable for improvising, composing, and learning new music faster.
I have a super simple and effective way to practice all five major scale patterns on the guitar to get them down once and for all by targeting the roots in a specific way.
And that’s what this lesson is all about.

This is the first lesson in a new series for how to map out and finally learn all five guitar scale patterns of various scale types. I know that some people have been playing guitar for a long time and still don’t have these five major scale guitar patterns totally down, or they know them but don’t see where the roots are clearly enough to take advantage of using them to their full potential. Stay tuned for more scale types coming up and use the link at the top of the description to go to playlist that includes all of these scale shape lessons.

LIVE & UNEDITED, from a September 13, 2019 performance at the Music Academy of the West, Santa Barbara, CA. Gilles Vonsattel, Paul Huang & Ani Aznavoorian perform Beethoven's Piano Trio in B-Flat Major, Op. 97, "Archduke"
http://www.cameratapacifica.org. Camerata Pacifica is a chamber music ensemble based in Santa Barbara that performs a monthly series of concerts in Santa Barbara, Ventura, San Marino, and Zipper Hall in Downtown Los Angeles. Founded by Adrian Spence in 1990, the group is composed of the finest performers of chamber music from around the world. The ensemble is distinctive for artistic excellence, an innovative approach to classical music and a repertoire that ranges from baroque to brand new, from familiar masterworks to works that have yet to become favorites.

Learn how to effortlessly memorize and play the five positions of the major scale for guitar. Knowing the major scale in five different positions across the fretboard will enable you to see every interval location across the fretboard, which in turn will give you the ability to play different scales, modes, arpeggios, and chords anywhere you lay your hand on the guitar by simply adjusting certain intervals within the major scale (This also perfectly lines up with the CAGED system for guitar) and for this reason, this lesson also shows the 5 CAGED major scale positions and each Major chord in the CAGED system for guitar! This makes learning the 5 positions of the major scale across the fretboard a very powerful tool for guitarists.

I want to know the place Where you come from I like to see your face when I wake up I offer me just for yourself Wrapped up for you and no one else And no one else Could be appreciative Be as appreciative of your charm When you walk you take you take your time Take the tiniest steps When I'm at your side if you feel You're left behind I'll slow down to your pace And we'll be like a tree And we'll grow on And if the world should end With fires and bombs I'd like to be there holding hands With you I'll view the end of the lands And no one else could steal a piece Like you could steal a piece that big Of my heart I want to be with you And we will be together I want to be with you
