Arthur David Granville (8 May 1911 – 1987) was a Welsh professional footballer.
Granville was born in Llwynypia. He joined Cardiff City in 1934 from the amateur side Porth United and, after a slow start, managed to establish himself in the side. He scored six league goals during his time at the club, all of which came from the penalty spot. Following the outbreak of World War II he stayed at Ninian Park to help coach the numerous youngsters, whilst serving in the Royal Air Force, and at the end of the war in 1946 he decided not to return to playing football and subsequently retired, instead becoming involved in assessing prospective players and also coaching local amateurs.

Arthur Granville Bradley (11 November 1850, Rugby, Warwickshire – 11 January 1943) was an historian and author of numerous books. His father was George Bradley, Dean of Westminster.
Biography
A. G. Bradley was educated at Marlborough College and Trinity College Cambridge. He spent several years farming in Virginia. Upon his return to England, he became a colonial agent in Westminster. From 1897 to 1926 he was a prolific author of books. In 1874 he married a surgeon's daughter Florence Rackham; they had one daughter.
Bradley is an English surname derived from a place name meaning "broad wood" or "broad clearing" in Old English.
Like many English surnames Bradley can also be used as a given name and as such has become popular.
It is also an Anglicisation of the Irish Gaelic name O’Brolachán (also O’Brallaghan) from County Tyrone in Ireland. The family moved and spread to counties Londonderry, Donegal and Cork, and England.
Surname
Bradley is the surname of the following notable people:
A. C. Bradley (Andrew Cecil Bradley, 1851–1935), English Shakespearean scholar
Abraham Bradley, Jr. (1767–1838), first Assistant Postmaster-General of the U.S.
The Bradley was an automobile manufactured in Cicero, Illinois, USA, by the Bradley Motor Car Company. Production commenced in 1920 with the Model H tourer, which was powered by a 4 cylinderLycoming engine, had a 116-inch wheelbase, and a selling price of $1295.
In 1921 the Model H continued in production, but was joined by the 6 cylinder powered Model F, also available as a tourer for $1500.
In November 1920, the company went into involuntary receivership, with liabilities of approximately $100,000. Although the assets held by the company were greater, including finished and party-assembled vehicles, along with a large inventory, the company was bankrupt by the end of 1921. Total production of the Bradley automobile was 263 cars.

The search for the ideal mechanized infantry combat vehicle (MICV) in the US military began as early as 1964, but design dissatisfaction and the Vietnam War complicated the procurement process while introducing new requests in what the US wants in their infantry fighting vehicle (IFV). A breakthrough to the final design was made when the FMC Corporation designed XM723 MICV was considered for the vehicle of choice for the IFV as the XM2 IFV, though the design was complicated again by having to also fit with the US Cavalry requirement as the XM3 Cavalry Fighting Vehicle (CFV). Following evaluations and criticism of the overall program, the XM2/3 was provided production approval in January 1980 as the M2 and M3 Bradley. Though both the infantry and c...

As of 2024 the US army has 2,500 Bradley Infantry fighting vehicles of all variants that are in operational service with an extra 2,800 chilling lying around in storage. The US army has enough bradleys in a warehouse to arm several small countries several times over. The current plan is to upgrade 700 of them to the new M2A4 version by 2029. So that old one was the Bradley, this,,,, is the uh Chadley? According to this congressional budget research document the average age of these Bradleys is about 10.2 years old. (pg8) so If the army drives their IFVs like I drive my cars they still have another couple of decades left in them.
Just how different is the M2A4 Bradley from the older versions? It’s basically an entirely different vehicle so don’t dead name it. First of all the new hull is larger and thicker on the bottom to counter land mines. The vehicle is also seven inches higher from the ground so that troops don’t slam into the ceiling and break their neck if they hit a mine. The larger hull increased the amount of Bradley reactive armor tiles that could be added for protection. However all these modifications came with a downside: they started to add a lot of serious weight; in its glow up, it's gone from about 25 tons to 40 tons today.
With the added weight the Bradley started to slow down losing 10 kilometers per hour of max speed. So it was cruising at 56 km/h and was starting to sag lower to the ground. This might not sound like a big deal but we have to remember the Bradley is designed to operate alongside the Abrams main battle tank while it chugs along at 68 kmph. One of its main advantages is its maneuverability. That’s why the A4 version received a 675 horsepower 8 cylinder Diesel engine and hydraulic transmission as well as suspension and track upgrades to restore ground clearance and suspension reliability. That’s a big step up from the original 500 hp engine it had back in the 80s. All of that is to say the new version regains that lost speed.

It’s unclear if the Ukranian Bradleys were hunting the Russian tank or if they accidently ran into each other. But in The interview with the Ukrainian bradley commander Sehr-HEE (Serihey) he indicated 3 Bradleys made the conscious decision to seek out the Russian tank. However one of their vehicles “had issues”, and was not able to effectively engage the tank so it had to retreat. So they were down to 2 Brads. The close quarters engagement begins with the Russian 48 ton T90M inside of a small village, with the first smaller bradley initially engaging it perpendicularly, then both vehicles retreat away from each other. The T90 fires a cannon 125mm shot that misses hitting the ground just a few meters in front of itself. Aiming at a target close to you in a tank becomes more difficult because you have to traverse the turret faster and objects will move across your line of sight faster due to its close proximity.

Though both the infantry and cavalry variant shared similar exterior looks, the cavalry differed with the infantry seat area configured to contain more ammunition and missiles for the M242 chain gun and TOW launchers. As improvements were introduced into the design, the original M2/M3 variants were designated with an "A0" suffix. Though some A0s were sent before the onset of Operation Desert Storm in 1991 (both M2A0 and M3A0 consisted of 19% of all Bradleys in theater), the A0s were more intended as attrition spares while the improved A1 and A2 variants were sent into combat.
Introduced in Update 1.85 "Supersonic", the M3 Bradley remains a relatively unique vehicle in the American lineup as an infantry fighting vehicle. Like in real-life, players would have to handle the Bradley's relatively large size alongside main battle tanks and its paper-thin armour against both kinetic and chemical shells. The mobility is nothing spectacular to write home about either aside from being able to get the Bradley from point A to point B in a suitable manner. That said, the variety of firepower it is able to dish out makes it a lethal machine. The APDS shells the autocannon armament fires can penetrate more than a few tanks from the side armour, not to mention being able to make mincemeat out of lightly armoured vehicles. However, when facing tanks or faraway targets, the TOW missiles are a great piece of tool to have to ensure a critical hit even from far out, the only downside being the long missile launcher deployment time from when the Bradley is moving to coming to a halt.

The Army’s new M2 Bradley is designed to increase survivability and…. oh god look at that turret, why is it so extra? They threw the entire kitchen sink at it with new sensors, weapons, and armor! There’s barely enough room for the cannon up there anymore, that turret needs to chill out. What new capabilities did the pentagon just cram up there. And how are they a response to some of the lessons learned in modern combat?

This footage you’re about to witness is absolutely insane and unlike anything I’ve ever seen before. On January 11, 2024 near the Ukrainian city of AHV-dee-iv-ka (Avdiivka), videos surfaced of a pair of M2 Bradley IFVs battling it out with Russia’s most advanced T90M main battle tank. What really happened in this viral battle and Why is this location strategically important for Ukraine to defend? A quick disclaimer, miraculously no one was killed in this footage still viewer discretion is advised.

M2 Bradley crews fire the 25 mm M242 Chain Gun and Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-guided (TOW) missiles from their Bradley Fighting Vehicles on simulated objectives during live-fire exercises.
The crews conduct training maneuvers, demonstrate combat power and proficiency.
The trainings was conducted to assess operational effectiveness.
The M2 Bradley, or Bradley IFV, is an American infantry fighting vehicle that is a member of the Bradley Fighting Vehicle family. It is manufactured by BAE Systems Land & Armaments, which was formerly United Defense.
The Bradley is designed for reconnaissance and to transport a squad of infantry, providing them protection from small arms fire, while also providing firepower to both suppress and eliminate most threats to friendly infantry. It is designed to be highly maneuverable and to be fast enough to keep up with heavy armor during an advance. The M2 holds a crew of three: a commander, a gunner and a driver, as well as six fully equipped soldiers.
The total cost of the program is $5,664,100,000, and the average unit costs $3,166,000.
