He began his movie career at the age of 13. According to a 1970 interview with Leonard Maltin, he stated he went to work for a horse dealer. One day, he was returning home from delivering some horses and was sitting on a horse when a man offered him a job in motion pictures because he could ride bareback. Miller recalled, "The first day we went out to a golf course in Brooklyn, and I rode this horse all over, got chased, and all." He found himself working as an assistant to filmmaker Fred J. Balshofer. The two remained lifelong friends (and in 1967 co-wrote the book about the early days of film titled One Reel a Week).
Miller eventually joined Pathé Frères and, although only 19 years old, became the cinematographer for the 1914 adventure serial The Perils of Pauline. In 1918, he and his brother Bill founded the Motion Picture Industry Union. He moved to Hollywood and had a lengthy tenure at Paramount from the late teens throughout the 1920s. In 1932, Miller signed a long-term contract with Fox Film Corporation to be the cinematographer for every Shirley Temple film. He retired in 1951 for health reasons, but remained active in the industry as president of the American Society of Cinematographers.
Charles Miller (b. 1918 – after 1977) was an American author of popular history books on East Africa such as The Lunatic Express, An Entertainment in Imperialism (1971) and Battle for the Bundu, The First World War in East Africa (1974).
From 2005 to 2009 he served as assistant parish priest at St. Jude's Parish, Karachi.
In 2009 he is Vicar General
of the Archdiocese based at Saint Patrick’s Cathedral. Father Arthur Charles is professor of dogmatic theology at the Christ the King Seminary and director of the Catechetical Centre, Karachi. He is also head of the Rotti Press, one of the oldest printing press of the city, owned and managed by the Archdiocese. He has served as editor of Christian Voice, Karachi for many years.
Fr. Charles has a doctorate in Dogmatic Theology. He served as a lecturer at the National Catholic Institute of Theology in Karachi in 1998-99, where he is also founding member.
Pakistani Catholics launched Agahi (Insight), an Urdu-language weekly newspaper in December 2006. Archbishop Evarist Pinto named him Editor-in-Chief of the weekly.

Dr. Charles E. Miller’s AAGL highlights
The biggest theme of the 2017 AAGL Global Congress was the importance of understanding anatomy, Charles E. Miller, MD, a minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon in Naperville, Ill., and past president of the AAGL, said at the meeting.
“It’s about doing surgery in the right place, in the right space,” he said.
One of the advantages of this year’s Congress is a greater emphasis on cadaveric dissections, Dr. Miller said during an interview. “Understanding how the nerves are placed, how the vessels are in place, the muscles and the different spaces, and how that all relates to our most complex dissections.”

Lyrics:
I spent my summers growing up looking for bullets from the civil war
Wasn't much else to do in that old Virginia town
I bought me a Gibson got the hell out of Clifton while the gettin' was good
Started making my living with a band and a van no one understood
No one understood
Fifteen years of laying my head on a different stranger's floor
Everyday's another stage as you struggle with the pain from the night before
Drive until dawn no sleep no time to have a life of my own
'cause there's bills to pay and the only way is to keep on movin' on
Just keep on movin' on
I sweat and bleed for every dollar that I earn
I always break my back, and I never break my word
If you take a good look I bet you'd see
There ain't nothing uncountry about me
To see me up here on this stage you might not believe
That I cut my teeth on 'Country Roads' and 'The Fightin' Side of Me'
Now I'm no stranger to the pain that a hard day's work will bring you
And ask me where I got these scars, I'll be more than glad to sing you
My song of sad regret
I sweat and bleed for every dollar that I earn
I always break my back, and I never break my word
If you take a good look I bet you'd see
There ain't nothing uncountry about me
Oh I'll fight through anything that's in my way
I'm always gonna be here and I ain't never gonna break
If you take a good look I bet you'd see
There ain't nothing uncountry about me

He began his movie career at the age of 13. According to a 1970 interview with Leonard Maltin, he stated he went to work for a horse dealer. One day, he was returning home from delivering some horses and was sitting on a horse when a man offered him a job in motion pictures because he could ride bareback. Miller recalled, "The first day we went out to a golf course in Brooklyn, and I rode this horse all over, got chased, and all." He found himself working as an assistant to filmmaker Fred J.
