Anthony Joseph Pratt (born 1960), an Australian businessman and billionaire, is the Chairman and CEO of Pratt Industries and Global Chairman of Visy Industries, the world’s largest privately owned packaging and paper company.
According to the 2015 BRWRich 200, Pratt and his family have a net worth of A$10.8billion; the second richest in Australia. Meanwhile, Forbes Asia's list of Australia's 50 Richest People assessed Pratt's net worth in 2015 at US$3.5billion; listing his sisters' wealth independently.
Pratt (a manufacturing magnate himself), is the son of former manufacturing magnate and President of the Carlton Football ClubRichard Pratt, who founded VISY and his wife philanthropist Jeanne Pratt AC.

'Manufacturing self-sufficiency has never been more important': Anthony Pratt
Billionaire businessman Anthony Pratt says manufacturing will be critical to Australia’s recovery – as he pledges to invest $2 billion in the sector today.
In an exclusive interview with Sky News, Mr Pratt said “manufacturing self-sufficiency has never been more important in the wake of COVID”.
“We wanted to double down on our commitment to Australian manufacturing and thanks to the prime minister’s leadership we’re starting to see a renaissance in Australian manufacturing.”
He said spending will begin immediately – with some of the money to be directed toward upgrading glass factories just purchased.

Super is the solution to COVID-19 recovery: Anthony Pratt
Visy Industries Executive Chairman Anthony Pratt has told Sky News superannuation is the key to fund the long-term economic recovery from COVID-19.
Mr Pratt said the US is leading the way in critical super fund lending, which holds the key to recovery.
“In America 40 per cent of all pension fund investment is lending to companies like (Visy Industries),” he said.
“In Australia only one per cent of superannuation funds are lent, the rest of it is equity invested.
Mr Pratt said Super funds lending to Australian companies is a “great opportunity” to ensure recovery, as the value of super will be close to $7 trillion by 2030, which he said is three times the size of the Australian economy.
