Lake is the grandson of Kirsopp Lake, a member of the Church of England clergy who came from Oxford, England, to America in 1914 to teach New Testament studies at Harvard. Lake's father, Gerard Kirsopp Lake, was a New Deal Democrat and his mother Eleanor (née Eleanor van Someren Hard), a Republican.

For the 1845 collection The Raven and Other Poems, Poe reworked the first line (“In youth’s spring, it was my lot”) to “In spring of youth it was my lot.”

Considering Anthony Lakes Ski Resort has only 1 chairlift, Vertical Rise of - 900 ft and Skiable Acres - 1100. The condensed FUN you can have on this hill is astonishing!
There is so much more, I can see, that with a bit more snow makes this ski resort even more enthralling! The jibs, side hits and pops are everywhere. Really isn't a spot I saw that was off limits.
That being said. Don't equate 'small' for lack of difficulty. I don't see a double black diamond designations anywhere on their trail map, but I certainly found areas that can easily be.
No question we will be heading back there this season. How can we not?!
