Lord Byron And Lady Byron: What Caused Their Divorce?
Anne Isabella Noel Byron, 11th Baroness Wentworth and Baroness Byron (née Milbanke; 17 May 1792 – 16 May 1860), nicknamed Annabella and commonly known as Lady Byron, was an English mathematician and the wife of poet George Gordon Byron, more commonly known as Lord Byron.
A highly educated and strictly religious woman, she seemed an unlikely match for the amoral and agnostic poet, and their marriage soon ended in acrimony. Lady Byron's reminiscences, published after her death by Harriet Beecher Stowe, revealed her fears about an alleged incest Lord Byron had with his half-sister. The scandal about Lady Byron's suspicions accelerated Byron's intentions to leave England and return to the Mediterranean where he had lived in 1810.

#1 - Annabella Byron
Anne Isabella Milbanke was born in Durham, England in 1792, the only child of Sir Ralph Milbanke, 6th Baronet, and his wife, the Hon. Judith Noel. In 1816, she married George Gordon Byron, the famous poet. She was nicknamed Annabellla and was commonly known as Lady Byron. She became Baroness Wentworth in her own right but did not use the title. She was said to be a gifted child and was taught mathematics, science, classical literature, and philosophy by a former Cambridge University Professor that her parents hired to be her tutor. Her love of mathematics caused her husband to nickname her his “princess of parallelograms”.
#2 - Mary Catherine Bolton
Mary Catherine Bolton, later known by her married name of Lady Thurlow, was a notable English actress, best known for her role as Ophelia. She was born in 1790 the daughter of an attorney named James Richard Bolton. In 1811, she played the part of Ophelia in Hamlet, delivering a performance described as “in decorous style, relying on familiar images of the white dress, loose hair, and wild flowers, to convey a polite feminine distraction”. In 1813, at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, she married Edward Hovell-Thurlow, 2nd Baron Thurlow, at which time the coat of arms was confirmed to her. She ended her career upon marrying him and had three sons with him. At the time, it would not socially proper for a wife of a nobleman to continue a career as an actress.
#3 - Anne Bayning
Anne Bayning was born c. 1619 in London, England, the daughter of Paul Bayning, 1st Viscount Bayning of Sudbury, and his wife Anne Glemham. The substantial Bayning estates in Essex and Sussex devolved on the Honourable Anne Bayning, daughter of the Paul Bayning, 1st Viscount of Sudbury and Anne Glemham. She was born in London, England c. 1619. In 1674 the viscountcy was revived in favour when she was made Viscountess Bayning, of Foxley in the County of Berkshire, for life, in the Peerage of England. She was the wife of firstly Henry Murray, Groom of the Bedchamber to Charles I, and secondly of Sir John Baber. She had three daughters: Jane, Mary, and Elizabeth.
#4 - Charlotte Fitzroy
Charlotte was born in 1664, the second daughter of Barbara Palmer, Countess of Castlemaine, and King Charles II. She left to live in Paris, but at the age of 11 in 1672, the king officially her as his daughter, and bestowed upon her the surname FitzRoy and was granted royal arms along with her sister Anne. The arms were granted to “our dear and natural daughters by our Right trusty and Right entirely beloved Cousin Barbara, Duchess of Cleveland, warrant, 28 FEB 1672 at Whitehall. To bear our royal arms in lozenge with a baston sinister ermine, as to Charles FitzRoy, Earl of Southampton, their eldest brother, by Walker”
When she was only 10 years old, she wed Sir Edward Henry Lee, a marriage arranged by the king, but the marriage was not consummated until several years later. Together, they had 18 children: five boys and 13 girls.
#5 -Mary Bolles
Mary Bolles (1579-1662) was the daughter of William Witham of Ledston Hall in the West Riding of Yorkshire, England and his wife, Eleanor Neale. Her father died when she was only 14 years old, and a few years later a woman named Mary Pannell was accused of having caused his death by witchcraft and was tried and executed for the crime.
On December 19th, 1635, King Charles I created a baronetcy for her in the Baronetage of Nova Scotia. This is the only instance of a Baronetcy being created for a woman. On the death of her grandson from her first marriage the baronetcy became dormant. She was styled Dame Mary Bolles of Osberton. Baronetcies had been created in the 14th century but were revived by Charles's father James VI/I in 1611 as a means of raising funds for the Royal coffers. A baronetcy is a hereditary title awarded by the British crown that ranks above knighthood, but is not part of the peerage.
Unfortunately, nobody seems to know why the King granted her a baronetcy. Perhaps it was because she made a sizeable financial contribution to the establishment of the colony of Nova Scotia.
She was married twice. Firstly, she married Thomas Jopson (sometimes shown as Jobson). They had one surviving child named Thomas. Her second marriage was to Thomas Bolles, of Osberton in Worksop, Nottinghamshire. She became the stepmother of his children, as well as guardian to her own grandson.
Lady Bolles owned the Heath estate from 1635 until her death. Lady Bolles's will, made in the year she died, refers to "the water tower or conduit, which she lately built, with the lead works and iron works belonging to it."

On Dezember 10th, 2012 Google honors Ada Lovelace's 197th Birthday with a Google Doodle. It is a worldwide Doodle you can see on every single Google homepage.
Augusta Ada King, Countess of Lovelace (10 December 1815 -- 27 November 1852), born Augusta Ada Byron and now commonly known as Ada Lovelace, was an English mathematician and writer chiefly known for her work on Charles Babbage's early mechanical general-purpose computer, the analytical engine. Her notes on the engine include what is recognised as the first algorithm intended to be processed by a machine; thanks to this, she is sometimes considered the world's first computer programmer.
Ada was the only legitimate child of the poet Lord Byron (with Anne Isabella Milbanke, 11th Baroness Wentworth). She had no relationship with her father, who died when she was eight. As a young adult, she took an interest in mathematics, and in particular Babbage's work on the analytical engine. Between 1842 and 1843, she translated an article by Italian mathematician Luigi Menabrea on the engine, which she supplemented with a set of notes of her own. These notes contain what is considered the first computer program — that is, an algorithm encoded for processing by a machine. Ada's notes are important in the early history of computers. She also foresaw the capability of computers to go beyond mere calculating or number-crunching while others, including Babbage himself, focused only on these capabilities.
