Andros (Greek:Άνδρος), also called Chora (Χώρα, "main town"), is a town and a former municipality on the island of Andros, in the Cyclades, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform it is part of the municipality Andros, of which it is a municipal unit, and shares the island of Andros with the municipal units of Korthio and Ydrousa.
Its population was 4,107 inhabitants at the 2001 census.
It has a mix of post-World War I neoclassical mansions with vernacular Cycladic houses. The town squares are paved with marble. At the end of the headland are two islands. The first, linked to the mainland by a brick bridge, with a ruined Venetian castle and the second with a lighthouse. There are four museums: the extensive Archaeological Museum, Museum of Modern Art, a Nautical Museum and a Folklore Museum.
Andros (Greek:Άνδρος) is the northernmost island of the GreekCycladesarchipelago, approximately 10km (6mi) south east of Euboea, and about 3km (2mi) north of Tinos. It is nearly 40km (25mi) long, and its greatest breadth is 16km (10mi). Its surface is for the most part mountainous, with many fruitful and well-watered valleys. The area is 380km2 (147sqmi). The largest towns are Andros (town), Gavrio, Batsi, and Ormos Korthiou.
The island is famous for its Sariza spring at Apoikia where the water comes out of a lionhead. Palaeopolis, the ancient capital, was built into a steep hillside, and the breakwater of its harbor can still be seen underwater.
This is a list of characters from the Power Rangers universe - both Rangers and supporting characters. Minor characters (including Monsters, foot soldiers, cross-over characters, and spin-off characters) are not listed.

Uhuru Aviation | Capt. Troy Laroda landing in Andros Town | Piper Aztec | C6-KTS
I had some work to do in Andros and ended up taking a charter there. This is the first time I've met Capt. Laroda, who is the brains behind Uhuru Aviation. Uhuru offers charters to wherever in the Bahamas a Piper Aztec can take you.
You could consider the Aztec to be our "national plane" because the airport is most populated with them. Amongst them, C6-KTS ranks high as far as having one of the better liveries.

Welcome to Andros Island!
Andros Island is The Bahamas' natural wonder. The earth's third-largest barrier reef lies adjacent to its shores and fascinates divers and snorkelers with magnificent whales, dolphins, marlin and reef animals. Underwater caves riddle the island, surfacing as mesmerizing blue holes; mangroves serve as relaxing environs for kayaking; flats make the island sought after for bonefishing; and forests delight avid bird watchers with exotic species.

This time I get to hike amongst some of the most natural villages of Andros, Greece. The capital of Andros, Andros Town - or Chora - is filled with natural spots and the locals are doing a great job of maintaining that beauty of their land and villages around the area.

Chora owes its architectural beauty to the islanders’ love for the sea, as the imposing mansions used to belong to the local sailors and captains.
The beaches of Andros on their own are enough of a reason to visit the island!
Organized or unspoiled, isolated or popular, its beaches seem to be able to please every visitor. The most famous ones are Agios Petros, Batsi and Golden Sand.
If you are more into virgin and isolated beaches, though, choose Vlychada, Agios Sostis and Halkolimnionas instead.
The natural beauty of this verdant island is divine! The hiking paths that cross the island will give you the chance to explore its lush vegetation. Packed with walnut trees, chestnut trees, oak trees and olive trees, Andros is a natural paradise!
On the island, you will also find some interesting sites to visit! Palaiopolis, the ancient capital of Andros, the prehistoric Plaka settlement and Zagora settlement are must-visits, not to mention its amazing museums! Additionally, visit the Museum of Modern Art, the archaeological museums and the Cyclades Olive Museum, to take a dip into the island’s culture!
For your accommodation, traditional apartments, studios, hotels and suites or villas with amazing views are available.

Andros is the northernmost island of the Cyclades island group. It stands out from the generally barren Cycladic islands, thanks to its lush vegetation and scenic natural landscapes.
Despite its proximity to Athens, the island hasn’t been affected much by the mass tourism, managing to keep its laid-back, unspoiled vibe!
Chora, the island’s capital town, offers a mixture of Venetian, Byzantine and Ottoman architecture. The result? Noble mansions and neoclassical buildings coexisting in harmony with the modern side of the town!

Views of Andros Town, the Chora of Andros island Greece, as seen from Chora beach on the north side of town. The video was shot on a cloudy morning one of the three days we spent in Andros Town in late May 2015.
