During senior year of high school, Abdullah had 1,800 yards rushing, 515 yards receiving, and ran back four punts for touchdowns. He was the 2010 South region player of the year. In the 2010, Mississippi-Alabama All-Star Classic, he scored the winning touchdown in overtime.
Also a track star at Homewood, he ran a career-best time of 11.15 seconds in the 100 meters at the 2011 AHSAA 6A Section 3 Championships, placing 7th in the prelims. He also competed in the long jump; he had a career-best leap of 6.60 meters.
Abdullah is an Arabic male given name which means "The Servant of God” which according to Sahih Hadith, one of those two names most liked by God. They are Abd-Allah or Abdullah & Abdur Rahman.
People
Abdullah
Abdullah Al Noor,Seeker of truth and refined & perfect Imaan to attain the nearness of Allah (S.W.T). Also a Soldier of Allah and His deen.
Abdullah or Abdallah is the primary transliteration of the Arabic given name, Arabic:عبد الله, built from the Arabic words Abd and Allah (Allah itself composed of Al- and Ilah). The first letter a in Al-Ilah in its native pronunciation is often unstressed and commonly transliterated by u, a stressed a is often used as well, although any vowel can also be used. It is one of many Arabic theophoric names, meaning servant of God or God's slave. The feminine counterpart of this name is Amatullah.
Humility before Allah is an essential value of Islam, hence Abdullah is a common name among Muslims. In particular, the name of the Islamic prophet Muhammad's father was Abdullah.
It is also common among Arab Jews, especially Iraqi Jews. The name is cognate to and has the same meaning as the Hebrew Abdiel and, more commonly, Obadiah. There were two Jewish Rabbis in Medina before Islam came; they were Abdullah ibn Salam and Abdullah ibn Shuria. Abdullah ibn Saba was a Yemenite Jew during the spread of Islam. The word Allah exists in the Arabic Talmud and other Jewish scriptures.
‘Abdallah Mirza (also spelled ‘Abdullah Mirza) (after 1410 – June 1451) was a short-lived ruler of the Timurid Empire, which encompassed the territory shared by present-day Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan, along with substantial areas of India, Mesopotamia and Caucasus.
As a member of the Timurid dynasty, Abdallah Mirza was a great-grandson of Timur, a grandson of Shahrukh Mirza and a son of Sultan Ibrahim Mirza. Granted the governorship of Fars by his grandfather, Abdallah Mirza found his position threatened by his cousin Sultan Muhammad bin Baysonqor during the 1447 succession crisis which followed Shah Rukh's death, and was forced to abandon the province. As a supporter of Ulugh Beg, he was imprisoned by 'Abd al-Latif following the latter's rise to power. When 'Abd al-Latif was murdered, he was released and made ruler of Samarkand, for which he was forced to lavish money upon the troops that supported him. Despite this, he did not enjoy widespread popularity.
During his relatively brief reign, a revolt created by Sultan Muhammad's brother Ala-ud-Daulah Mirza bin Baysonqor did not seriously threaten him, but a rising initiated by Abu Sa'id Mirza, whose home base, at the time, was in Bukhara, proved to be fatal. Marching from Tashkent to Samarkand with the support of the Uzbeks, Abu Sa'id Mirza defeated Abdallah Mirza and executed him in 1451, taking his place on the throne.

A coach can help motivate a player to reach his full potential. Whether using positive reinforcement (pat on the back) or constructive criticism, every teacher (coach) needs to figure out what makes that particular player tick. If you have a player/coach dynamic--that's as good as gold.

I instantly came away impressed with Abdullah's ability to respond to questions with well-thought out, long-form answers. You can see the thought process that was registering in his head, as each question was fired. He didn't hesitate to give an honest response.
The charisma factor was there. I then took it upon myself to ask a question in regards to his football NFL traits of being a patient runner with elite vision while not dancing around in the backfield. He responds to my film-critique first before delving into his NFL game and what makes his game tick.
