Joseph Edward "Joe" Nichols (born November 26, 1976) is an American country music artist. Between 1996 and 2001, Nichols held recording contracts with the Intersound and Giant labels. In 2002, he signed with Universal South Records, now known as Show Dog-Universal Music.
Joe Nichols was born and raised in Rogers, Arkansas. He was the second son born to Michael Curtis Nichols (May 29, 1956 - July 16, 2002) and Robin Larson Nichols. Joe has an older brother Michael Curtis Jr. and a younger sister Kelli Francis. His father, who worked as a trucker, also played bass guitar in local country bands; eventually, Nichols himself found work in a local rock band, before taking a job as a country disc jockey. Nichols is part Cherokee.
Giuseppe Fappiano (July 16, 1905 – December 23, 1984), known as Joseph C. "Joe" Nichols was an American sports journalist. A columnist for the The New York Times, he won the Elmer Ferguson Memorial Award in 1984 and is a member of the media section of the Hockey Hall of Fame. He joined the Times in 1923 originally as a copy boy and became a reporter in 1925. Besides hockey, he also covered boxing and thoroughbred racing. He retired in 1975 and died of a heart attack in 1984.
Joe Nichols is the self-titled debut album of American country music artist Joe Nichols. Released in 1996 on Intersound Records, it produced the singles "Six of One, Half a Dozen of the Other", "I Hate the Way I Love You", "To Tell You the Truth, I Lied", and "Wal-Mart Parking Lot Social Club". None of these singles charted on the BillboardHot Country Songs charts in the U.S., but "Six of One, Half a Dozen (Of the Other)" reached number 74 on the RPM Top Country Tracks charts in Canada. "She Could Care Less" was previously recorded by Shenandoah on their 1994 album In the Vicinity of the Heart.
Release history
The album was re-issued twice: first in 2002 as Six of One, Half Dozen of the Other on Row Music Group, and again in 2003 as The Early Years on Infinity Nashville. The 2003 re-issue featured the tracks in a different order, as well as a bonus DVD featuring four videos.

All I Need is the second studio album by English singer and songwriter Foxes, released on 5 February 2016.
Background
Foxes started work on the album in January 2015 in Los Angeles. Commenting on the album's direction, Foxes said "I was inspired a lot more with this record with stripping things back and making it a lot more emotional. I didn't want to do a concept album, I always like it when I can write from a diary in a way. It's quite an emotional album. It's got elements from the first one, but it's definitely not as produced. The tracks feel a lot more vocal [with] piano and strings. It's still cinematic in ways but I'm a lot more honest on this record this time around, which is quite a scary thing to be." She has also said that the album was inspired by relationships. The album was originally scheduled to be released in October of 2015 but the album was pushed back to 5 February 2016 so it could be released worldwide.
Critical reception
All I Need received generally positive reviews from music critics. At Metacritic, which assigns a normalized rating out of 100 to reviews from mainstream critics, the album has an average score of 69 out of 100, which indicates "generally favorable reviews" based on 8 reviews.
David Ruffin, the Temptations main lead singer, serves as the songs narrator. In it he's begging his lover to forgive his unfaithfulness and mistreatment of her, telling her how guilty he feels about it and that he'll make it up to her. The recordings beat is very similar to the songs written and produced by Holland-Dozier-Holland, Motown's main songwriting team (of which Holland was a part of).
The single is the first not to be produced by the group's main producer Norman Whitfield since Get Ready, as Whitfield produced their releases starting with the following single. And due to Whitfield maintaining an iron grip on his creative control over The Temptations' released material, it would also be the last until the singles where they're teamed with Diana Ross and the Supremes in 1968.
In an interview, Within Temptation vocalist Sharon den Adel discussed "All I Need":
Music video
The video for this single was shot on 30 September in Berlin. It was released online on 19 October 2007. The video consists of a dream world in the mind of Sharon's character. The band is shown tied to walls of their cells, along with various surrealistic scenes. In the end of the video Sharon is shown in a hospital bed with images from the dream sequence flickering on a screen connected to her mind via wires.
In an interview, den Adel discussed some elements of the video:
Lea: It's you in a hospital-bed there...
Sharon: Yeah, and they are monitoring my dreams, so they are analysing what I'm dreaming. And that's basically the video and it just suited best with the lyrics, because it's very difficult to express things which are very symbolic, which you can't really show in images like "hope". How do you express "hope", you know? Or "believe in something" or "keeping something real" or "people who are fake". You can image that very well in a way of a dream. That's why we did it in that way.

You got me walkin' up on air And I'm afraid of heights You fill my days w/ thoughts of you That rock my sleep at night I see another side of me When you come into view I hate the way I love you But I do I hate the way I miss you Everytime you're not around And the way you got me thinkin' It's time to settle down I tried to fight the feeling But this time there's no use I hate the way I love you But I do I always used to pride myself I never lost control When I felt I was in too deep I'd pack my heart and go Now I fall all to pieces At the thought of losing you I hate the way I love you But I do I hate the way I miss you Everytime you're not around And the way you got me thinkin' It's time to settle down I tried to fight the feeling But this time there's no use I hate the way I love you But I do I tried to fight the feeling But this time there's no use I hate the way I love you But I do Oh I hate the way I love you
