Nelson appeared in seven movies in the 1960s as one of Eric Von Zipper's "mice" in the successful American InternationalBeach Party series. She is the only person who appeared in all seven Beach Party movies, including Beach Party, Muscle Beach Party and How to Stuff a Wild Bikini. Nelson played the leather clad "rat pack" biker chick Puss (sometimes also called Alberta and in one film, Lisa), one of the comic villains who dogged the steps of America's sweethearts, Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon.
After her successful girl-next-door stint as Flora on The Andy Griffith Show and her comedic career as biker girl Puss, Nelson starred in 1970s The Wild Scene as Dr. Virginia Grant, a female psychiatrist who talks graphically about her tawdriest cases. This and a 1970 appearance on Love, American Style would be Nelson's last credited roles.
Alberta is bounded by the provinces of British Columbia to the west and Saskatchewan to the east, the Northwest Territories to the north, and the US state of Montana to the south. Alberta is one of three Canadian provinces and territories to border only a single US state and one of only two landlocked provinces. It has a predominantly Humid continental climate, but seasonal temperature average swings are smaller than to areas further east, with winters being warmed by occasional chinook winds bringing sudden warming which moderates average temperatures.
Alberta's capital Edmonton is near the geographic centre of the province and is the primary supply and service hub for Canada's crude oil, oil sands (Athabasca oil sands) and other northern resource industries.
Unplugged is a live album by Eric Clapton released in 1992. It was recorded for the MTV Unplugged series and includes both the hit song "Tears in Heaven" and a heavily reworked acoustic version of "Layla". The album won three Grammy Awards in 1993 and sold 26 million copies worldwide.
Background
Clapton performed the show in front of a small audience on 16 January 1992 at Bray Film Studios in Windsor, England. In addition to the final album tracks, the performance included early versions of "My Father's Eyes" and "Circus Left Town" along with "Worried Life Blues" and a version of "Rollin' and Tumblin'". Clapton played Martin 000-42 acoustic guitars for much of the performance, and in 2004, one of the guitars sold for 791,500 USD (£ 434.400) in auction. Commenting on the popularity of the album in his 2007 autobiography, Clapton wishes the reader to understand the great emotional toll he experienced around that time, and suggests that they visit the grave of his son Conor in Ripley to do so.
Alberta (Minister of Education) v Canadian Copyright Licensing Agency (Access Copyright)
Alberta (Minister of Education) v Canadian Copyright Licensing Agency (Access Copyright), 2012 SCC 37, is a Supreme Court of Canada case that considered whether the photocopying of textbook excerpts by teachers, on their own initiative, to distribute to students as part of course materials is fair dealing pursuant to the provisions of the Copyright Act. The Supreme Court, in a 5/4 split, concluded that the Copyright Board made several errors in its analysis of the "fairness factors". Thus, it allowed the appeal and remitted the matter back to the Copyright Board for reconsideration.
Background and facts
Access Copyright represents authors and publishers of literary and artistic works. The entity administers the reproduction of such works by issuing licences and collecting and distributing royalties to affiliated copyright owners. When licensing or royalty agreements with users of the printed works cannot be reached, Access Copyright has the option to apply to the Copyright Board (the "Board") to certify a royalty in a form of a tariff.

Flying through the Canadian Rockies - Calgary Alberta to Nelson British Columbia (Airplane - C182)
Join me today as we fly this Cessna 182 from Calgary Springbank to Nelson British Columbia! See the wonderful views of the Canadian Rocky mountains from as high as 11500 feet above sea level. Our journey takes us over some of the most beautiful scenery in the world such as the town of Banff, Kootenay Lake and so close to Mount Assiniboine you can see the detail in the rock.
Throughout the six chapters of this film, the tour guide (me) points out different features and history along the route that many people travel from all over the world to see. This flight ends at Nelson with the most scenic approach i've ever done that takes us between a mountain range and over a lake. Enjoy!

Ruben Nelson - Alberta: What’s Going on and Why It Matters to all Canadians.
Summary:
We know that if you stress and startle grizzly bears, rattle snakes or people, they all tend to behave badly. Today, Albertans are more stressed than any time in their history. Signs are also emerging that Albertans are getting set to behave badly, even very badly, as a province within Canada. At best, we may face a tempest in a very large teapot. At worst, a culture war that could break-up our country.
As of today, neither Albertans nor other Canadians are prepared for a decade which may be far darker than, “There go those rich Albertans again, complaining that being richer than the rest of us is not enough. They always want more.”

Brief Biography:
Ruben Nelson, Executive Director, Foresight Canada will walk us through the extraordinary degrees of stress now being experienced in Alberta, some of Alberta’s unique history, and the forces that are now gathering strength; forces which may lead to a Canadian version of the American Civil War, with Alberta playing the role of the “new” South.
Ruben was born and raised in Alberta. He has watched Alberta morph from the province in which he was born – a poor country cousin to a far more prosperous Saskatchewan -- into an economic powerhouse on which Canada came to depend, and take for granted.
Given a decade at Queen’s University, two in Pierre Trudeau’s Ottawa and a year in India, Ruben has learned see both Canada and Alberta in the context of human problematique which now rightly preoccupies CACOR.

If the latter, where is the trouble we see in Alberta leading us? Why, why now, and what does all this imply for our future? These are the issues Ruben will chew with us.
