British Airways A318 Club World from London to New York
For many years, British Airways Flight 1 meant one thing: Concorde from London to New York. Today, British Airways Flight 1 has a different connotation. It's a British Airways A318 flying from London City (LCY) to Shannon (SNN) and on to New York (JFK). It's certainly British Airways' most unique route and, let's face it, a British Airways A318 flying across the Atlantic probably ranks up there as one of the most unique routes on the planet.
Here's a link to the full, unedited takeoff and landing footage from this flight:

Go to https://nordvpn.com/pilot or use code pilot to get a 2-year plan plus a bonus gift with a huge discount!
On the 20th of December 2019 an Airbus A318 from Air France, Flight 7512, suffered a very serious upset event during approach into Toulon in Southern France. The upset was caused by a little known feature of the ILS system known as a false glide-slope and in this video I will tell you all about what happened and what we can learn from it.

TRIPREPORT | Air France (BUSINESS) | Frankfurt - Paris CDG | Airbus A318
Flying Business Class within Europe isn't always worth it, as most airlines simply sell the front-most Economy Class seats with an empty middle seat and some add-ons like meals. This means you won't get great legroom for the fairly high price of flying Business.

BA Airbus A318 Superb Short Take Off at Cambridge Airport
BA's sole Airbus A318 G-EUNA seen departing Cambridge after a quick visit (MX). Departing light back to London City Airport, she used up a staggering 1500ft before rotating, the shortest departure I've ever seen at Cambridge. Really impressive to watch.

Luxury Private Jet Flying Experience. Imagine having the whole plane to yourself without sharing!
I flew on a Comlux Airbus A318 Corporate Jet 9H-UEC. The aircraft features luxury interiors, a VIP lounge and a private room with bed and two bathrooms. I enjoyed the open space of the lounge, great views of many windows, Asian-fusion food ordered onboard and a private room for relaxation.
The Airbus Corporate Jet has the widest and tallest cabin of any business jet; it can also handle up to 18 passengers, making it ideal for corporate groups and large families. This jet is based in Asia, available for luxury VIP charter. For more details: Visit Comlux on https://comlux.com/

The Fall Of The Airbus A318 Baby Bus
Only two airlines currently use the A318 on a scheduled basis. The aircraft was never popular, largely due to its poor economics compared with the alternatives. With nine scheduled users in the past decade, the aircraft was able to find a home in Latin America, but Europe was the leading region.

Now, in this video about British Airways Flight 1, I'll highlight the ground experience at LCY and SNN, the British Airways A318 Club World seat, the British Airways A318 Club World food, the British Airways A318 Club World in-flight entertainment, and the British Airways A318 Club World service.
British Airways Business Class has been discussed by other trip reporters at length. Here's my take on what is, arguably, the strangest British Airways Business Class around. Club World is a product with many variants. And this version of Club World is unique to the Airbus A318. It's worth noting British Airways A318 Club World is a special seat design worth taking a look at in this video about British Airways Flight 1.
In the end, I'll give the experience on British Airways A318 a score. But, I'm curious to know...after watching the video, how would you rate the British A318 service from London to New York?
I'll even give you my decision about whether I think this flight earned the designation it shared with Concorde: British Airways Flight 1.

Flying Business Class within Europe isn't always worth it, as most airlines simply sell the front-most Economy Class seats with an empty middle seat and some add-ons like meals. This means you won't get great legroom for the fairly high price of flying Business.

Only two airlines currently use the A318 on a scheduled basis. The aircraft was never popular, largely due to its poor economics compared with the alternatives. With nine scheduled users in the past decade, the aircraft was able to find a home in Latin America, but Europe was the leading region.
