Air traffic control (ATC) is a service provided by ground-based controllers who direct aircraft on the ground and through controlled airspace, and can provide advisory services to aircraft in non-controlled airspace. The primary purpose of ATC worldwide is to prevent collisions, organize and expedite the flow of air traffic, and provide information and other support for pilots. In some countries, ATC plays a security or defensive role, or is operated by the military.
To prevent collisions, ATC enforces traffic separation rules, which ensure each aircraft maintains a minimum amount of empty space around it at all times. Many aircraft also have collision avoidance systems, which provide additional safety by warning pilots when other aircraft get too close.
In many countries, ATC provides services to all private, military, and commercial aircraft operating within its airspace. Depending on the type of flight and the class of airspace, ATC may issue instructions that pilots are required to obey, or advisories (known as flight information in some countries) that pilots may, at their discretion, disregard. The pilot in command is the final authority for the safe operation of the aircraft and may, in an emergency, deviate from ATC instructions to the extent required to maintain safe operation of their aircraft.
Air Traffic were an English alternative rock band from Bournemouth. Formed in 2003, the band consisted of Chris Wall (piano, lead vocals), David Ryan Jordan (Drums), Tom Pritchard (guitar) and Jim Maddock (bass guitar).
The band's name originated from when they used to rehearse in an industrial unit next to Hurn Airport, where air traffic control signals could be picked up on their amplifiers. Their music features heavy use of piano, and they have been described by NME to be like "Supergrass covering Little Richard". The band have received minor success with the release of their single "Shooting Star", which debuted at No.30 in the UK singles chart, and the release of their debut album, Fractured Life.
History
Formation and Fractured Life (2006-2008)
Chris Wall first met David Ryan Jordan and Tom Pritchard whilst studying at school in Bournemouth in 2003. The band moved to London in 2005, they recruited fourth band member Jim Maddock and began looking for a record deal. Their first single, a double-a side of "Just Abuse Me" and "Charlotte", was released on 17 July 2006 through Label Fandango. 500 copies of the single were produced, all of which sold out within a few days of the release date. Following this, the band were signed to major labelEMI. The band began to experience some mainstream success after being noticed by Steve Lamacq and Zane Lowe of BBC Radio 1, resulting in airplay on Radio 1, Capital Radio, XFM and Kerrang! Radio.
Maybe I'm Dreaming is the debut studio album by American electronica project Owl City, released on December 16, 2008. Despite having been self-released and not recorded by any major producer, it managed to reach the top 20 of the Billboard Electronic Music Album Chart. The seventh track, "The Technicolor Phase", is featured on Alice in Wonderland's compilation album, Almost Alice.
Following the surprise success of Owl City's second album, Ocean Eyes, Maybe I'm Dreaming was pressed and re-released by Universal Republic on March 30, 2010.
An official music video for the song "Early Birdie" was filmed in March 2008 by Young's childhood friends/bandmates Andy and Anthony Johnson (Windsor Airlift), and then released on January 11, 2011 via YouTube.

Nissan Silvia Spec R S15 O2 (Lambda) Sensor Problems
For a while now the Silvia has had some issues in various areas: when tuning, when driving for long periods, when in traffic and most of the internet knowledge on this points to the O2 or Lambda sensor being at fault.
Given the mileage on the car this is very likely. It probably doesn't help that the sensor wiring is a bit ... well.....melted.
With my handy Blitz RVIT monitor I can see that the O2 sensor voltage isn't doing what it's supposed to which is fluctuate between about 0.8/0.9 down to 0.1/0.2 as the air fuel ratio changes.

As time goes by You break the spell And you don't tell everyone But I can't describe this feeling inside It's bringing me down We talk all night And into the day 'Til there's no more to say And when we're all done you say it's been fun But it's better this way It's you that I need It's you that I need It's you, and I'm sure it's always been It's you that I need It's you that I need It's you, and I'm sure it's always been Time's run out I'm losing control I wish there was more But those wheels won't wait Like tears on my face, they're rolling away It's you that I need It's you that I need It's you, and I'm sure it's always been It's you that I need It's you that I need It's you, and I'm sure it's always been All the love that we had, you let it all down All the love that we had, you let it all down It's you that I need It's you that I need It's you, and I'm sure it's always been It's you that I need It's you that I need
