Aaron Dupree Tippin (born July 3, 1958) is an American country music artist and record producer. Initially a songwriter for Acuff-Rose Music, he gained a recording contract with RCA Nashville in 1990. His debut single, "You've Got to Stand for Something" became a popular anthem for American soldiers fighting in the Gulf War and helped to establish him as a neotraditionalist country act with songs that catered primarily to the American working class. Under RCA's tenure, he recorded five studio albums and a Greatest Hits package. Tippin switched to Lyric Street Records in 1998, where he recorded four more studio albums, counting a compilation of Christmas music. After leaving Lyric Street in 2006, he founded a personal label known as Nippit Records, on which he issued the compilation album Now & Then. A concept album, In Overdrive, was released in 2009.
Tippin has released a total of nine studio albums and two compilations, with five gold certifications and one platinum certification among them. In addition, he has charted more than thirty singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts, including three Number Ones: "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong with the Radio" (1992), "That's as Close as I'll Get to Loving You" (1995), and "Kiss This" (2000), as well as the Top Ten hits "You've Got to Stand for Something", "I Wouldn't Have It Any Other Way", "My Blue Angel", "Working Man's Ph.D", "For You I Will", and "Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly".
Aaron is the brother of Moses in Jewish, Christian and Islamic texts.
Aaron or Aaron's may also refer to:
Aaron Scotus, Irish abbot and musician, fl. late 10th century – 14 December 1052.
Aaron was an Irish abbot and music theorist, the term Scotus at the time denoting Irish (person).
A Benedictine, Scotus was the abbot of St. Martin, Cologne, Germany in the year 1042. He pilgrimaged in his youth to Colonia to the Gaelic-Irish convent of St. Martin. He became abbot of the same in 1042. He was identified with Aaron, abbot of St. Pantaleon. Today historians reject this identification.
It is believed that he first introduced the Gregorian evening service (nocturns) into Germany. He authored two historically important treaties: De utilitate cantus vocalis et de modo cantandi atque psallendi and De regulis tonorum et symphoniarum. The library of St. Martin, Cologne conserves his work Tractatum de utilitate cantus vocalis et de modo cantandi atque psallendi. He wrote three musical treatises, all of which have been lost.
Aaron died on December 14, 1052.
Aaron was a Miaphysite Coptic saint. His apocryphal legend says of him, "When he was sick, he made roasted pigeons fly into his mouth." He has a feast in the Coptic Calendar of saints on May 16.
Ayin or Ayn is the sixteenth letter of the Semitic abjads, including Phoenician ʿAyin , Hebrew ʿAyin ע, Aramaic ʿĒ , Syriac ʿĒ ܥ, and Arabic ʿAyn ع (where it is sixteenth in abjadi order only). ﻉ comes twenty‐first in the New Persian alphabet and eighteenth in Arabic hijaʾi order.
The ʿayin glyph in these various languages represents, or has represented, a voiced pharyngeal fricative (/ʕ/), or a similarly articulated consonant, which has no equivalent or approximate substitute in the sound‐system of English. There are many possible transliterations.
The letter name is derived from Proto-Semitic *ʿayn- "eye", and the Phoenician letter had an eye-shape, ultimately derived from the ı͗r hieroglyph
To this day, ʿayin in Hebrew, Arabic, Amharic, and Maltese means "eye" and "spring" (ʿayno in Neo-Aramaic).
The Phoenician letter gave rise to the Greek Ο, Latin O, and Cyrillic О, all representing vowels.
The sound represented by ayin is common to much of the Afrasiatic language family, such as the Egyptian, Cushitic, and Semitic languages. Some scholars believe that the sound in Proto-Indo-European transcribed h3 was similar, though this is debatable. (See Laryngeal theory.)
An ain is a spring in North Africa, which reaches the surface as a result of an artesian basin and is of particular importance in arid regions. It can produce a flow of water directly or result in evaporitic saline crusts. Known examples are found in the oases of the Tunisian region of Bled el Djerid and in the entire area around the depressions of Chott el Djerid and Chott el Gharsa. Here, there are water-bearing strata, usually of sand or sandstone, that act as aquifers in their function.
Ain (/ˈeɪjɪn/; from the Hebrew עין for spring) was a Levitical city in the ancient Tribe of Judah territory. It is referred to in the Bible in the Book of Joshua as a city allotted to the tribe of Judah and as a village allotted to the tribe of Simeon, whose territory lay within the land allotted to the tribe of Judah. Ain was one of the southernmost cities of Judah, towards the Dead Sea coast of Edom, on the border of the Negev between Shilhim and Rimmon.

Released on the very last day of 2019, Disambiguation finds Essay Read fighting with his inner-most fears, desires, and insecurities. The album is harsh and awkward, bizarre and crunchy, just like the brains of all those who are fed up with being silenced. What happens after the last song rolls? Does emancipation lie beyond the credits? How does one return to a life of normalcy after it has been ripped to shreds and exposed for what it really is? This album displays Essay's frustrations with the world, including patriarchy, capitalism, censorship, and socially constructed norms that see fit to enslave our social minds with a lifetime of subordination. In addition, his own metaphysical qualms with his self-destructive tendencies play a focal role in this passionate, wet, and naked examin...

She burns too hot, plays too rough
She's got a dress full of dangerous stuff
The way she looks tears me apart
But the way she loves me nearly stops my heart
If her lovin' don't kill me, don't put me six feet down
I'll be the last man standin' on the top of the hill
If her lovin' don't kill me then nothing will
My doctor told me I looked kinda ragged
He said, "What happened, boy? Did you fall off the wagon?"
I said, "It ain't my drinkin' or my smokin' doc
It's my drop dead darlin' rockin' me around the clock"
If her lovin' don't kill me, don't put me six feet down
I'll be the last man standin' on the top of the hill
If her lovin' don't kill me then nothing will
Every night, she tears me up
She gives it good and I can't get enough
And if her lovin' don't kill me, don't put me six feet down
I'll be the last man standin' on the top of the hill
If her lovin' don't kill me then nothing will
If her lovin' don't kill me, don't put me six feet down
I'll be the last man standin' on the top of the hill
If her lovin' don't kill me, then I swear nothin' ever will
Nothin', nothin' will
(If her lovin' don't kill me)
I'm invincible
(If her lovin' don't kill me)
If her lovin' don't kill me
(If her lovin' don't kill me)
(If her lovin' don't kill me)
(If her lovin' don't kill me)
