"A friend of mine who lived in New York for years told me that it only takes about three hours by car to Vermont. He lied.
From New York's Lower East Side to St. Johnsbury in the north of Vermont it took us almost nine hours. And the second we crossed the state line into Vermont our mobile phones stopped working. It was dark when we got to St Johnsbury.

A Little Secret - Salmón Osado
Lyrics:
It’s a little secret
Just for you to know
He can be a sweetheart
He can be the boy who stays the morning after,
and makes you pancakes
Oh love,
So sweet,
So good,
He feels.
But he’s not the one who can buy the moon like someone else could.
It’s a little secret
Just for you to know
He can be a sweetheart
He can be the boy who stays the morning after,
and makes you pancakes
But he’s not the one who can buy the moon like someone else’s money.

Khonnor - Dusty
My own video interpretation of the fantastic song of Khonnor, Dusty. This is the wandering of a lonely girl.
Thanks for the inspiration, Enjoy

From New York's Lower East Side to St. Johnsbury in the north of Vermont it took us almost nine hours. And the second we crossed the state line into Vermont our mobile phones stopped working. It was dark when we got to St Johnsbury.
These days no buses or trains go through this tiny dying community, the former train station is now a tourist information center. But even that looks dusty, empty and on the verge of closing down any day.
This is where Connor Kirby-Long grew up.
He calls himself Khonnor when he makes music. Like on the recently released debut album "Handwriting", which, for some of us, is the most beautiful collection of modern pop songs we've heard all year.
Sitting on his friends' porch in a Halloween bird mask he tells us how much he hates journalists who make a big deal about his age.
But so do we, I tell him. Not since Aztec Cameras Roddy Frame has anyone so young written melodies and lyrics with such ease and grace.
You see, Khonnor just turned 18. And most of the songs on his debut record were written while he was still in high school and then recorded - secretly - in his parents' basement. That's why he sometimes whispers more than he sings - he didn't want to wake up the family, didn't want anyone to know.
The week following the release of the album Khonnor's parents still hadn't been told that their son had made a record and that some guys from MTV Europe were in town doing a documentary on him.
Spending three lovely autumn days and nights in the midst of the Vermont foliage with Khonnor and his three best friends felt like being in "Stand by me" and, sometimes, like watching "Twin Peaks" with yourself in a supporting role.
They took us to their favourite grave at the cemetery, to abandoned factories, a crap thai restaurant, to the old high school, to Khonnors parents' house (they were away).
We really didn't have to do much else than turn on the camera and let them guide us through their hometown, their lives, their friendships, their boredom, occasional outbursts joy, the worst cream cheese and smoked salmon bagels and the internet as a life support machine.
We may have loved the record long before we realised what it actually was about, but now, having seen the place it was created in and met the young man who made it, it's clearer than ever before that pop music really can save your life."
