"(If Loving You Is Wrong) I Don't Want to Be Right" is a soul song written by Stax RecordssongwritersHomer Banks, Carl Hampton and Raymond Jackson. It has been performed by many singers, most notably by Luther Ingram, whose version topped the R&B chart for four weeks and rose to number three on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1972.Billboard ranked it as the No. 16 song for 1972.
In 1972/73, The Faces recorded the song as an outtake for Ooh La La, their final studio album. In 1974, Millie Jackson released her version of the song which received two Grammy Award nominations, and in 1978 Barbara Mandrell's version topped the U.S. country singles charts and reached number 31 on the Billboard Hot100. Rod Stewart re-recorded the song for Foot Loose & Fancy Free, his eighth album; released as a single it peaked at #23 in the UK singles chart in 1980.
The song
The song is about an adulterous love affair, told from the point of view of either the mistress or the cheating spouse, depending on the gender of the performer. Regardless, both parties involved express their desire to maintain the affair, while at the same time acknowledging that the relationship is morally wrong.
No Dice is an album by British rock band Badfinger, issued by Apple Records and released on 9 November 1970. Their second album under the Badfinger name and third album overall, No Dice significantly expanded the British group's popularity, especially abroad. The album included both the hit single "No Matter What" and the song "Without You", which would become one of the most successful compositions of the rock era.
History
Although this was the band's second album released under the Badfinger name, the previous album, Magic Christian Music, was originally recorded as The Iveys but released as Badfinger. It was the band's first album recorded after new guitarist Joey Molland joined the group, replacing bassist Ron Griffiths. Molland's addition caused Tom Evans to switch from rhythm guitar to bass. Badfinger would release five albums, generally their most successful recordings, with this line-up.
No Dice peaked at number 28 on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. Widely praised in music reviews at the time, Rolling Stone magazine opined that it represented what the Beatles would have sounded like had they retained their initial formula.
"Loving You" is pop vocalist Feargal Sharkey's second single as a solo artist, released in 1985. The single's two tracks did not feature on Sharkey's self-titled 1985 debut album Feargal Sharkey.
The B-side for the single, "Is This An Explanation?" was exclusive to the single, written by Sharkey and Jo Callis who was a member of popular band The Human League. The A-side was also written by Sharkey and Callis.
The single peaked in the UK at #26 for a total of 11 weeks, where Sharkey's previous debut single "Listen to Your Father" peaked at #23.
The A-side featured Queen's percussionist Roger Taylor on additional drums and synths. Taylor also produced the A-side along with David Richards whilst Sharkey produced the B-side. Richards has also worked with Queen and David Bowie.
A promotional music video was created for the single. Sharkey also performed the song on the popular UK music show Top of the Pops.
"Loving You" is a single by English recording artists Matt Cardle and Melanie C. It was written by Cardle, Jez Ashurst, Will Talbot, Jamie Scott, and Melanie C, and it was produced by Cardle, Scott, and Toby Smith. It features Cardle on drums and acoustic guitar. The single was released on 18 August 2013 in the United Kingdom as a digital download as the lead single from his third studio album Porcelain (2013). It has also been released in many countries worldwide, making it the first of his singles to be released outside the United Kingdom and Ireland. Despite only BBC Radio 2 playlisiting the song, which meant a lack of airplay on radio overall, it performed well in the charts.
Rumours of a duet between Cardle and Melanie C began in early May 2013 after she attended his concert at Union Chapel on 2 May. It was confirmed on 30 June on his website, when it was announced as the first single from his forthcoming album. Cardle said, "I met Melanie at the Isle of Wight Festival last year. I’m a big fan and I’ve always loved her voice." Speaking of the song he said, "I had already started writing "Loving You", and I thought with a few changes it could work perfectly as a duet".
The first season of American animated television seriesRegular Show originally aired on Cartoon Network in the United States. Many of the characters are loosely based on those developed for J.G. Quintel's student films at California Institute of the Arts: The Naïve Man From Lolliland and 2 in the AM PM. Quintel pitched Regular Show for Cartoon Network's Cartoonstitute project, in which the network allowed young artists to create pilots with no notes to possibly be optioned as a show. After being green-lit, Quintel recruited several indie comic book artists, plus some of the crewmembers he had worked with on The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, to compose the staff of the show, as their style matched close to what he desired for the series. Regular Show was picked up by Cartoon Network, who decided to create a twelve-episode first season.
The first episode of Regular Show's first season is "The Power", ending with the season finale "Mordecai and the Rigbys". The season was storyboarded and written by J. G. Quintel, Sean Szeles, Shion Takeuchi, Mike Roth, Jake Armstrong, Benton Connor, Kat Morris, Paul Scarlata, and Kent Osborne, while being produced by Cartoon Network Studios. The show is rated TV-PG and occasionally TV-PG-V. Despite not airing on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim line-up, it is considered more of a traditional adult's animated comedy than a children's cartoon.
In the film series, he is shown as a crime lord who initially works under Singhania, but later emerges as an Emperor of the Asian and European mafia. He is characterised as evil, cunning and ruthless, though he is shown to exhibit a little romantic interest in his friend turned foe Roma. In the first film Don, he is shown to be dead and a look alike of him named Vijay takes his place to work as an informer to the police. However, in the 2006 film it is revealed that Don is actually alive and had killed Vijay to take his place for a little while. Later he manages to control the entire Indian Mafia and eventually takes control of the European mafia.

If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right If being right means being without you I'd rather live a wrong doing life Your mama and daddy say it's a shame It's a downright disgrace Long as I got you by my side I don't care what your people say Your friends tell you there's no future In loving a married man If I can't see you when I want to I'll see you when I can If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right Am I wrong to fall so deeply in love with you Knowing I got a wife and two little children Depending on me too And am I wrong to hunger for the gentleness of your touch knowing I got somebody else at home who needs me just as much And are you wrong to fall in love With a married man And am I wrong trying to hold on To the best thing I ever had If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right Are you wrong to give your love To a married man And am I wrong trying to hold on To the best thing I ever had If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right If loving you is wrong I don't wanna be right I don't wanna be right If it means sleeping alone at night I don't wanna be right If it means coming home at night I don't wanna, I don't wanna I don't wanna never, never, never be right
