Addition of roll call vote data for MEP templates
[edit]I would like to add data on participation in roll call voting data to the templates for MEPs biography pages. The data can be found on the European Parliament's website. I would envisage a script that dynamically updates this data. Please contact me if you have any further thoughts on this.

Ninth European Parliament Cleaning
[edit]I've opened a discussion on the Ninth European Parliament article about reviewing and rewriting this article through a major update. I'm hoping to finid others in the WikiProject willing and enthusiastic about reviewing and collaborating on the article. If not, I will start working on it soon independently before making a proposal. I'll update on the talk page. If you're interested in helping please join the the discussion. Jo Jc JoTalk💬Edits📝

New module and templates for European parties and their national member parties
[edit]Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you guys know that we created a new module Module:EUPP seats to list seats of European parties and their national member parties in various institutions, and give out the corresponding composition bars.
- Template:EUPP data gives the number, share and composition bar of seats of European parties in the European Parliament, European Council, European Commission, European Committee of the Regions, and across member states' lower and upper houses, as well as a bunch of information drawn from Wikidata (name, members, public funding, color, website, acronym, etc.);
- Template:Political party data does the same but for national political parties; and
- Template:EU institution seats gives the number of seats of various EU institutions.
The tabular data linking national member parties to their European party and relevant lower and upper houses can be found here. We are still working on updating figures in Wikidata and then will deploy Template:Political party data on the pages of political parties in EU member states EDIT: edited text above following module update. ALDE as a "transnational alliance"
[edit]Hi everyone,
I would like some community feedback on the continued relevance of the article on Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe as a transnational political alliance -- note that this is different from the article on ALDE as a European political party or as a political group of the European Parliament, or as a political group of PACE, or in the Committee of the Regions.
The page is not really developed and has not changed much in a while. Meanwhile, I am not really sure that this "alliance" between ALDE Party and the EDP is still a thing, and the EDP's website does not seem to mention it at all. The number of seats in the EP is also wrong and the website is actually that of ALDE Party. At the very least, if we are to keep this page, it should probably be in the past tense. What do you think?
