I've been keeping an eye on Philvoids for some time now, and I'm convinced he's another sock of Cuddlyable3. Philvoids arrived on the scene in December 2021, fully formed and with seemingly extensive knowledge of RD procedures. His editing closely follows the pattern established by previous C3 socks – minimal mainspace editing, active mainly on the science ref desk, with interests in electrical engineering, energy and audio analysis. In recent days he's begun a bizarre campaign of support for the long-forgotten (and permanently blocked) user StuRat on the ref desk talk page [1] – note that C3 is one of the editors cited in Philvoids' list of users who supported StuRat in the past. Further evidence comes in the form of correcting "its" to "it is" [2] (a known C3 obsession), and characteristic edit summaries of edits correcting spellings, in which the corrected word is placed within inverted commas [3] [4] (see the diffs in the DroneB section above for previous examples of this tic). Finally, C3 is known to be from Norway, and I note that Philvoids has edited the Norwegian Wikipedia in the past [5]. -- Viennese Waltz 10:28, 6 May 2025 (UTC)[reply]
