[edit]DKQQQ is not a "Call Sign". It was an FCC Placeholder when the FCC has revoked a license, but is holding the call sign in anticpation that the licensee is going to challenge their action and want the call sign back.
Reviewing the history of the FCC actions, this station had a building permit for 10 years, and just kept applying for extensions. In 1994 (when this "became' the call sign), the FCC denied any further extensions (3 years is the normal limit for a construction permit). The station ultimately got on the air with their full license only in 2003.
and the facility ID is wrong.StreamingRadioGuide (talk) 22:24, 11 May 2008 (UTC)
- This is good historical information, shouldn't it be in the article and not the talk page? The facility id is correct according to the FCC database, if there is a more accurate resource, please share it.--Rtphokie (talk) 00:18, 12 May 2008 (UTC)
