During the 1948–49 season Football Club Internazionale competed in Serie A.

Summary

The campaign is best remembered as the shockingly first match won at Juventus field since 19 March 1930.[1]

Arrived to reinforced the midfield Bearzot — future legendary head coach of National Italian Football Team with a match debut on 21 November 1948,[2] also arrived winger Armano,[3] among other transfers in such as: Forward Amadei and Hungarian Nyers forming a mighty offensive line with Lorenzi[4]

The club finished in a decent second spot in League.
