Designated Bully (일진담당일진, 一陣擔當一陣, Iljindamdangiljin) is an action Webtoon Original created by GRIMZO; it updates every Sunday. The original Korean Webtoon premiered on Naver.
Synopsis[]
After dropping out of high school, Kwon Daegun is working part-time at a convenience store while preparing to get his GED. After being harassed by a group of punks during work and teaching them a lesson, Daegun is approached by a woman from the Education Foundation about a project called “Designated Bully”. After being offered another chance at a normal life, Daegun accepts the offer and attends school to perform his one duty as the designated bully: To take down the other bullies, and restore order to the school.

Kwon Daegun[]

Kwon Daegun is the main character of the series and is a 20 year old high school dropout who used to work in a convenience store. He is most probably an orphan as it is revealed in the first episode that he has no mother or father. Information about the rest of his family is unknown.
After beating up some miscreants in the first chapter it is revealed that he was the leader of Incheon area which was said to be in the age of blood, was wiped in just a week by him alone. Showing just a glimpse of his prowess.
After joining the 'Designated Bully' project we come to find that he is given a new flat in a posh area and a credit card for his expenses he is surprised to see a bed in the flat saying that he used to sleep on the floor hinting to the fact that he is poor.
Lookswise he is extremely handsome and is even renowned for it. Also after years of hard training and discipline he has built up an extremely good physique and after training himself in MMA his punches are said to hurt more than a bullet with the actual words being "It is better to be shot than be hit by Kwon Daegun" .
He is also extremely kind and mature, giving his opponents many chances to correct their ways and even reforming former bullies. But he is not very intelligent as he clearly shows difficulty in learning english and other subjects. He is very studious though with many instances in the story showing his seriousness towards academics.
No Man Ho[]
He is called 'mannerless fighter' as he fights with weapons in a fist fight and also hits his opponents in their private parts. Due to his uncanny fighting style he was the leader of Class 1-1. After being beaten by Daegun he and his sidekicks (Ho Jong and Jong Min) stopped being bullies and are now Daegun's friends even trying their best to help Daegun in many situations.
Baek Suzy[]
Baek Suzy
Is one of the main female characters and is the self proclaimed queen bee of Classes 1 & 2. She is the younger sister of Baek Suhyeok who is also the leader of Gyomreong High. She is a trained Jiu-Jitsu fighter who was most probably taught by her brother. She always shows a tough and arrogant side in front of others but is actually a Tsundere mainly towards Kwon Daegun who she secretly has a crush on, as he had saved her on multiple occasions.
At first it is shown that she is mean but in the later parts of the series we see her constantly worrying for Daegun and always trying her best to watch over him. Nearly all the students except Daegun are quite sure about her liking Daegun but Daegun himself is clueless towards her advances having given her his phone number and not minding the fact that she still calls herself the Queen while he is being called the King of Classes 1 & 2.
