General Wiki Rules
- Blanking pages is considered vandalism and will be reverted and result in a block for offenders. "Blanking" includes removing some or all of a page's content or replacing the written content with gibberish.
- No reverting edits without a valid reason. Users on this wiki put effort into the content and any reverted edit must be done with reason.
- All edits on a page must be constructive. All edits must improve a page's grammar and detail.
- Harassment, slurs and disrespect towards any party will not be tolerated. All users are expected to be courteous when editing or discussing. Users that are found to violate this rule will be banned. Additionally, harassment towards another user is a violation of the Fandom Terms of Use.
Blocking Policy
Any user may place a request with an Administrator to have another user blocked. Reasons for blocking must include a violation(s) of the General Wiki Rules. Users requesting blocks should supply credible evidence of the circumstances warranting a block. Administrators are never obliged to place a block and are free to investigate the situation themselves. Because blocks may be reviewed and appealed, it is often important that the blocking and reviewing Administrators each communicate with and take care to inform the other
Unacceptable Reason for Blocking
Accounts and addresses may not be blocked for:
- Disagreeing with an Administrator; this is conflict of interest.
- "Cooling off" purposes; this usually only inflames the situation.
Duration of Blocks
The duration of the block given should depend on the severity of the behaviour and the likelihood of its repetition.
Image Policy
- Images uploaded to Vagabond Wiki must originate from official sources, such as the manga, anime, or any other official material coming from Takehiko Inoue or related companies.
- Pages that contain images that are not related to the Vagabond manga will be removed.
- Unrelated images that are added to pages or in discussions and are considered to be inappropriate are to be immediately deleted and, depending on the severity of the offence, the user may be blocked.
- Only upload images that you are going to use (in articles, blogs, comments or forum).
- Before deleting an unused image, you must check if there is a page where it can be included, and include it if that is the case.
Naming of Images
It is preferred that an image's filename should be a brief description of the action or character that the image is showcasing. Filenames should not be in violation of the General Wiki Rules or Image Policies. Additionally, filenames should not contain any derogatory term or curse-word.
Spoiler Policy
Users visiting the Vagabond Wiki must be aware that no spoilers are required for all information released up to the Hosokawa arc. If a new chapter is released and edits are made to pages to include information from the new chapter, a spoiler warning will be used. Additionally, all discussion pertaining to a newly released chapter must include a spoiler warning. Please do understand that the Vagabond manga is over 24 years old and the latest chapter was released over 7 years ago; majority of Vagabond Wiki visitors have read much of the manga.
