Public links let you share parts of Basecamp with people outside your account. We made some improvements to publicly-shared content, including a visual update and a new feature to make public links even more useful.

We introduced the Admin Pro Pack last year to give companies extra control over access and permissions. Now, the Admin Pro Pack is even more valuable with the addition of a few highly-requested features, including marking someone Out of Office, automatically archiving completed work, and more.

We've added lots of big features to Basecamp recently, but it's important to polish the small details, too. We looked at a few key pages to see what could use a touch up.

We improved scheduling events in Basecamp, including adding two new features — everyday language support for adding events and quick access to video meetings.

Ping conversations are now easier to identify. Give pings a name and add an image to help tell threads apart.

Introducing Timesheet, an add-on that makes tracking time simple. Track time by clicking the green timer at the top of to-dos, cards, docs, and more. The Timesheet report lets you filter by project, person, or date range, and download a CSV file.

See everything that’s unassigned across your projects on a single page. Under Activity, you’ll see the new report: Unassigned work. Assign tasks and set deadlines to ensure nothing slips through the cracks.

Editing a document title or updating a project’s description just got easier. Now, you can rename projects, tools, documents, messages and more without ever leaving the page. Simply click and make your changes.

Now in Basecamp, linking to a message, to-do, card, event, document, or file automatically creates a Reference, instantly tying related things together.

Bookmarks let you set aside important stuff in Basecamp. We made a few updates to make them even more useful!
