These are my favorite pictures of my hubby. A silly, happy and funny guy! Can't wait till he gets back to being his old self again.
With the wife, like he calls me.
On a happy day with his family.
At my mom's playing domino with his pop.
At his sister, Sara's wedding.
At my sister Mayra's being a good boy.
On vacation taking it all in.
At our home being himself.
At the Miami Beach Botanical garden.
Home, just chilling.

MY HOME FOR THE HOLIDAY.
This was my Christmas home decorations last year, I'm doing more or less the same this year. But, there is something wrong with me, as much as I like Christmas, by the time I get to the tree I talk myself out of it. I don't like putting up my own tree, I feel so overwhelmed by it. I love tree triming parties and I help a lot. Maybe because I don't have children I don't know????? Well maybe this year I'll put one up. I do love other peoples Christmas tree.
HAPPY THANSGIVING TO MY BLOGGIES, MAY GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL YOUR LOVED ONES!
I REALLY NEED TO REMEMBER TO GIVE GOD THANKS EVERYDAY!!!!
These pics are from our last Thanksgiving, it was great!!! Thanksgiving Cuban style (no Cuban food allowed!) usually is about 20 people, yes that is my immediate family and I usually host it, and love it.
Well this year, is just my hubby, the girls and I. I'm ordering our dinner from Publix for just the two of us. We're staying home and watching the Thanksgiving Day Parade and thanking God for his kindness and all that he gives us!
To the left of this LO is a gray hair man, he has a blue shirt on. That's my father in law. A great old timer! He was funny and had a home made remedy for whatever ills you. Pop admired and respected nature and he loved all animals. He will be missed.
My father in law passed away last week, it was a peaceful passing and we know he is in heaven now. It's been tough on my husband, but he gets better every day.
God is amazing! I thought I could never be there to offer some comfort to anyone who lost a parent or even be able to come up with the right words to say. I'm so grateful that God has given me the peace to be here for James.

MORE AUTUMN EYE CANDY
Wanted to share this lovely eye candy I found while surfing on line. Imagine what we could do with all our gorgeous scrapbooking paper. This could easily be changed to a Christmas theme center piece. The possibilities are endless....
I find things on line all the time but, I'm really bad at getting the source/artist name. I'm so sorry! I don't know where I got this from, but I would like to THANK the artist.

Just had to show you my latest cake creation.
This cake I made for my sister, Mayra, she just changed her home a little bit and I notice she used lots of black and white, so I went with a black and white theme. I'm very happy how it turned out. My original idea was to do damask cutouts in the black fondant. I had some cracking in the white fondant that forced the vertical zebra pattern. Again I've proved to myself that great creations can come out of mistakes.
This is my version of a Magnolia, my first. I love how it turned out.
This is the inspartion cake. I'm sooooo sorry I can't give credit to the designer. I don't remember where I found it, but she/he is a true artist. I thank you for the insparation!

Look how cute the craft show booth turned out!!!!!
Just had to post these pictures of my sister, Dolly, last craft show. My mom and I helped her a little, but she did most of the work. She's very talented, of course, she is my sister LOL.
The show was at a local church and it had a great turn out. I was so happy when she told me she had won the most creative booth awards.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

Today was my B-Day and I turned 49. How did that happen???
I feel so blessed and thankful, I'm healthy and having a birthday.
I'm not one to make a big deal of my-B day, but I have to share this. Early morning today my wonderful hubby woke me up with 2 cards and 2 gifts. We got married on my B-Day!
Some great things happened to me today. My husband did not forget our day despite the fact that his dad is very ill. He still found the time!!! I would of been happy with just one of his great card, this man can pick a card. Secondly, we've been all day at the Hosp. and I just open my page on LIFE ON THE (SCRAP) BEACH.
I found so many wonderful birthday wishes from all those lovely ladies, that meant so much to me!! This is a great group of talented ladies and I'm soooooo happy to be a part of it. THANK YOU LADIES!!!!!!!
If I had time to bake....These would of been the colors. I'm going to bake next week, maybe maybe????
I have a very thoughtful hubby!!!!
